I have often said that the Pro Amnesty groups lacks the right kind of leaders. This is their downfall. The people in Mexico lack good leadership too. In many ways it is a shame. As the leaders they are picking have promise them much but they can not deliver. And they have chosen the wrong paths. Too bad because these bad leaders who they are following are the very ones who hurt them the most.

Pro Amnesty leaders as in the groups forming have been doing well. I do not think as yet you can point to anyone particular leader. But they have the majority of Americans behind him.

I agree with Hadenough .. the pro amnesty leaders such as they are, really don't do their group much good ... marching on May 1st and Labor Day really does send a message that won't be lost on the majority of the people ... and speakers who whip up the masses and talk about "taking back their country" is hardly going to endear the American public to the idea of amnesty ... the ones who will suffer are in the main the people who they claim to represent ...

On the anti side I haven't seen anybody with any clout I'm sorry to say .... according to polls I have seen about 80% of the American people and 14-15% of Congress consider illegal immigration an important issue in the upcoming elections ... so far nobody in the anti camp seems to have been able to capitalize on that opinion and organize anything worthwhile ...

Either way, I do wish the pro amnesty group on this board anyway would realize that not everyone who is anti amnesty is a racist, and I wish the racist slurs emanating from some immature people who claim to represent the anti side would stop ... not to mention some of the garbage that I've seen going on here tonight ... oh drat, I'm sleepy now, and my puppy is eating my shoes ... sorry for the diatribe, I don't make much sense I know ... :(

Lets be honest they got nothing but gangs representing them. Using their families. Losers. We have almost the whole country representing us.

But in GENERAL......I have found none who make a difference. Guess that leaves it up to us.
