OK this might not be what you think, but any way. I want to visit Canada, but I have a felony on my record from the end of my "young and stupid" faze. That was nearly 10 years ago. Will this be a problem when crossing over? if so, what can I do to fix it, or get some kind of permission to visit Canada?

Should it be, you kill one westerner in a terrorist attack, we kill one million muslims, that or deal with us in a rational form?

Will it come to that point?

I'm not advocating doing it far from it, I'm all in favor of peaceful solutions. I'm just wondering what opinions are on the subject

Me, I'm tired of "religious" A**holes here and abroad running my world. Will this and distrust of Muslims lead to actions like mass extermination?

FYI - I'm not a conservative biggot, or backwood hick, I'm a liberal (very) San Franciscan, I'm just posing a question.

I’m a full blown liberal and I’m proud of it this war is taking us no were we were told the Iraqis would greet us if u liberated them sure they are greetings us alright with ak-47s ieds and sharp dull knifes. since we have invaded Iraq there has been 3 thousand murders in Iraq a month. u have terrorists taking the whole joint over thousands of American solders dead. even the Iraqi police cant protect themselves they get killed and beheaded to death like everyone else in the sand box. can anyone name anything that’s going right in iraw i doubt it its was way better off when sadam was the president then us being in charge.

Yet this is what the Liberals values are, soft living, get rich quick, peace at any cost, safety first, what can my country do for me? theory of life...

This is evident by people that have an engineering degree in Lazyness, mooching off of the welfare, while the elderly and the new citizens struggle to make ends meet...

This is clearly seen in the Democrates. Their only goal in life is to complain about the America's situation and blame Bush for everything.

It seems to me that ordinary people are like work slaves with fully loaded machine guns, but they are dragging rocks along the path chosen by a few bossy people who only have sticks to beat us with.

For example: We can get multi-national corporations to change their policies where they cause inequality and abuse. We have the power of where to spend our hard-earned money!

Individually it doesn't amount to much, but if enough of people vote with their money, corporations and governments will listen, cause they depend on each other. Also voting through the ballot box for people with similar inclinations would also help.

All the other justices get in on the act, asking questions, challenging the lawyers arguing in front of them to defend their positions. But Justice Thomas never says anything! You can check this out at www.supremecourtus.gov - pick any transcripts you like. I've looked at dozens of them but I can't find his name once. What gives?

i would like to learn arabic and i don't mind working for/with the military or the federal government...but i don't want to join the military and sign my life away and go through boot camp and all that. i don't even mind signing a 6-yr contract or whatever. is this possible, or do i have to join the military? is there any other way i can study arabic at the DLI?

Some seem to think your kid will grow up to indulge in one of the few ways to get HIV AIDS. For the small % which get it, its unfair that most people get to live without AIDS. So to be fair, and safe... Should ALL children be forced to be injected with HIV vaccine? (made from hiv)

Hopefully a few generations later, HIV will be hardcoded into human DNA world wide.

My friend (yes, really my friend, not me. He is too lazy to post this) has been in possession of some lolicon anime (which involves younger girls in comprimising situations. Almost animated child porn) for some time. Recently a law was put into effect banning this in the United States. If he was caught with it, would it be illegal, because he has had it for a long time, or should he go throw it out? (Yes, I know it is bad stuff. I want him to get rid of it. Why cant Christians be like Buddism, Judism, or even Muslim? Why do they constantly push this religion on people? Everytime someone mis-interpret (rather in a book or on TV) the Christian Religion they cry and protest. You dont see Buddist jumping all over the place for being spoofed or made fun of (it doest bother them). You dont see Jews boycotting books like Harry Potter because their Torah said Witchcraft was wrong and that its feeling young minds with Sorcery. Why not sit back, pray, study and accept the ones who CHOOSE to walk in the light? We cant not judge the Islamic Extremist for what they are doing, They are waging war in the name of Allah, Jihad number 3. Remember the Crusades, the salem Witch Trials, and The Millions killed during Queen Mary's reign (Catholics killing Protestants). I just wanna know whats the point of such hypocrisy!!! If your God signaled you to do his bidding with violence, YOu will hop to it...

my supervisor sent an email to the staff about being late and leaving early (again by like five min). the problem is the entire staff is there an hour before he walks in. and really does shutting down your computer 5 minutes early really make a differenence? the commute for him and actually the others are like 15 minutes tops. my commute is like 2 and half hours and I get to work an hour early.i have heard he said he did not care if a plane fell from the sky in front of your bus or car.... he has started spying on us too.
