Thank goodness there are "kids" like you!
You know, I got into "Answers" because I thought I could learn some things, maybe teach some things, and generally have fun. But night after night I am disturbed, angered, sorrowful because of the hate, lies, stereotypes, racist comments, and just plain garbage on this site!
We have the people who say the immigration question is one of legality, not race; but then they go on to call our brown brothers and sisters filthy, racist names. (If they're so worried about "legality", why can't they even follow the simple rules set up by Yahoo for this forum????)
Thank you for having a brain and using it. And if "growing up" means turning mean, small, hateful, evil, filthy-mouthed, then stay the wide-eyed young optimist and gentle soul that you are!

You're absolutely right. What's happened to Biology class? Doesn't anyone remember that there's only one race? Human. Scientifically speaking, there are something like five stocks, and they aren't races. DNA tracking is telling us that we are more alike than we are different. People are really complaining about behavior that bothers them, because its intrusive to them. Look to the guys that are profiting by the divisiveness, kind of like follow the money. I'll bet we can find a bunch of creeps we can all agree are the biggest part of the problem.

It is human nature to harbor feelings of racism. Every person has at one point or another, had these feelings, even if they did not say them aloud. I am a white guy, honestly have had racist feelings towards others, but i married an asian girl, so im not racist, but have had thoughts, its human nature. Its how we deal with it.

If you pay attention to what we refer to as the " pro-illegal" movement , they say words such as " undocument immigrants", and phrases like " you stole the southern U.S. from Mexico" and "Europeans are the real illegal immigrants". Pay attention to what they say,ask for their sources,follow through and read what they are saying about America and its people. Then you will see that it is infact the " pro-illegal" movement that are the true racist.
Just don't let your self be tricked by their lies, and remember it was and is American citizens that made this country what it is.

Yes I believe there are a lot of people who are racist on here. Many of the Latino/Hispanic people are racist against white people, black people, Native Americans, Asians and it is absolutely disgusting! They don't realize the illegal immigrants coming illegally into the USA is an issue of LAW not race.

A lot of them are. I don't know about half. Why not go to polls and surveys and ask everyone if they're racist? And if so, why? Were they raised to hate, or did they pick it up some where along the way?

I guess that I have been in the wrong categories as I had not noticed. If I am noted as being AGAINST illegals in this country, I certainly do not consider that being racist

lancelot is probably the most honest person so far ... a true racist will never admit it he will say he is a "TRUE AMERICAN" forgetting that the only TRUE AMERICANS are Indians everyone else their ancestors came from other country's unfortunately getting older doesn't ALWAYS make you smarter
