Monday I got a parking ticket for "parking on or over curb",” vehicle off roadway and onto grass". I went to my school but I don't have a parking permit since I don't usually don't bring the car but the visitor parking spaces were filled so I had to park on a side street. I went to the closest street and found a spot between two other cars. I parked beside an empty lot, which was really overgrown and unkempt, so much that the grass was on the street. Now the street is not that wide so I just parked beside the curb, and since the lot was so overgrown my tire happened to roll onto some grass. I didn't really think I should park halfway in the middle of the street just to avoid some grass, which was on an abandoned lot. Well, they gave me a ticket, the bike cops game me a ticket. I've never had a ticket before in my life and they give me a ticket for that.

Should the government rebuild it for me? More specifically, who is responsible for the delays in the aftermath of Katrina, insurance companies, the federal/state/city governments, the individuals who had no protection, or some combination?

Why aren't we exploring alternative energy sources like converting coal to oil. I've heard from the Govenor of Montana that if just the coal in Montana was converted to oil it would equal the oil in Saudia Arabia. I've heard if we converted all out coal to oil it would Dwarf the middle east oil.

Would you rather live under big brothers watch, with each and every minute of your day preselected for you, but staying safe or live in anarchy and be free? How do we find a happy medium between security and liberty? What is your personal theology on how governments should balance the two?

I think I might be wording my question wrong, but let me attempt to clarify. Ever since 9/11 I hear alot of talk about terrorists, and itseems like the word is being used to describe anyone whose ideas oppose your own. Obviously we can agree that those blowing up buildings with people or maiing anthrax or taking hostages are terrorist, but I'm hearing people who are homosexual to people that excercise their patriotic right to patician their government for this nations well-being, being called a terrorists. It seems like the term is no longer defined as dangerous individuals but just different individuals. So my question is who would you consider a terrorist. Would a graffiti artist be a terrorist? Please help me clarify this before the word becomes another dangerous ambiguity.
