Don't give him sh*t!

He should wait for the Bush god to drop him another tax break on all those darn kids and maybe he could afford to take care them.

(1) Tell him to drive a hybrid to save gas, because the troops aren't going to pull any out the Persian gulf anytime soon. The mission is far from being complete.

(2) Remind him that pro-choice isn't always a bad thing . It would be much easier to pay for 2 kids instead of 4.

Weird enough, there was a segment on Good Morning America that Repubs are popping out more kids the Democrats, and rearing more mini-repubs, so it seems to be true. Hopefully, they will be better than their father.

Keep your money!!!! We've been on a downward spiral since the repubs took office. You never know when your going to need it . We have 2 more years of the Bush god! 9/11, the War, Hurricane Katrina, $3/ gallon gas, high interest rates, ya never know what's going to happen next!

I find it particularly hard to get along with the mentality of "What's mine is mine and what's yours is mine" also. However, in this situation I think it just complicates the issue unnecessarily to throw in that he's a Bush Republican. I find that despicable too, but can't relate it very much to the issue about the loan.

He owes you $300 now. How much more does he want to borrow? Yes, it is stupid of him to bring other members of the family into it when he needs your good will. But don't let him drag you down into the hole that he's in.

If I were in your position, I would let him know I don't intend to support his lifestyle. I would say, "You've got a total credit limit with me of $5oo. I'll help out this time for the kids sake with $200. But no matter what happens, there will be no more loans of any kind for any reason till you've paid back what you owe me in full.

I'd take this opportunity to let him know how I felt for him to drag in other members of the family. I'd tell him that if anything like that ever happened again, I would divorce him as my brother.

Then I'd kick him where he's most sensitive and say "That's a message from Beast to let you know what he thinks of your political preferences.

What has your brother's inability to pay for school clothes got to do with his being a Republican? Frankly, I find it hard to believe that you would be so selfish. Actually, no I don't. However, you don't want to give him money for whatever reason, that's your business and your decision. Why do you feel the need to drag in into a public forum and blame it on his politics? If he were a flaming liberal Democrap, would you help him out then?

Bunchek it is good to see you back. That is a funny family situation and you are suppose to help family but, I don't think it is in the contract to be taken advantage of. I would stick to my guns if I were you. But do remember these are you neices and nephews. Maybe you could take them shopping and maybe by one outfit each for them. While you teach them about democracy it might end up with the right votes for the right candidate some day in the future.

Support our troops is an American theme, not a republican theme, unless you're saying Dems don't support our troops. As far as not having the money to buy his kids clothes, how is that a Republican thing? It sounds like you want to blame EVERYTHING on the Republicans. Why not face the truth, your brother wasn't raised well enough to spend his money wisely.
You did make one good choice though, by not having kids!

While I agree with you that your brother needs to take responsibility for his own actions, I dont think all republicans are like him. Just like all democrats are not the opposite.

while your brother's behavior is ironic, i thought liberals wanted to help their brothers.
Or at least their nieces and nephews. But, why isn't he homeschooling? (Course, we're flaming liberals and unschool, but it could still be a funny solution for him.
