Good question. The answer is no. God help us for sure if Cheney became president. Now that is really something to fear.

No. Because they were not the president elect, but president by default.

The vp needs to be elected president for it to count. The only way it would count is if he served more than half of the term of the president that he was filling in for. So if he served two or more years for the president elect, then he could only run for one more term.

No. He can be elected to 2 terms after he fills in for the rest of the president's term who died.

Not if he's dead, it wouldn't matter. But the VP would only be President until the next election, then he would have to be elected again. So technically it would be a term, you worded the question very weirdly.

No it wouldn't, even if the President died right after being elected, it does not count as one of the 2 terms allowed.

22nd Amendment: "No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice, and no person who has held the office of President, or acted as President, for more than two years of a term to which some other person was elected President shall be elected to the office of the President more than once."

So, if he served less than two years of someone else's term, the second clause ("elected once") would not apply, and he could be elected twice.
