I have a ticket for speeding, 14 miles over the speed limit. Should I elect to DDC? What it will help me with? Will it lower my insurance? If somebody already went to that kind of course can you tell me what the questions on the test look like? Are they hard?

Okay, Did anyone get to vote on pray taken out of schools? Is it the governments, buisness to make us wear a seatbelt in our car? Over and over evidense is introduced electronic voting machines can be rigged. People want the illegals removed, the government doesn'y listen (thank God for our MInute Men), people as a whole don't want our troops in Iraq. My favorite is Bush wanting to give 6 of our major ports over to a Country that harbored terrorist, when people became outrage and congress wanted to stop it. Bush basically said so what. It wasn't until his own party came down on him, he listen. I wonder if he had to give back the millions that Arab Country "donated" to his brother's software company. Now they can come in our home anytime by misleading us calling it the Patriot Act. The easedrop on our telephone conversations. They want to get on you for spanking your children. Where are our rights?

I for one would be happy to pay a little more if I could designate where it was spent. I think there is so much money wasted on absolute drivel at the expense of our country's future. If we don't start addressing social injustice like poverty, malnourishment, poor education, healthcare, elder care we won't have a very bright future....the leaders of today are here and suffering to the point that they can't even participate in political discussion and change. I know there would be deficits in certain areas that no citizen cared about but let us go in debt over that stuff instead of Social Security, Medicaid, Food Stamps, WIC, police, education. Wouldn't this further allow our population to have in-put on what our government focuses on. Also it would cut some of the complaining and feeling of helplessness. Wouldn't this act as a preventative measure to crime, drugs, medical issues, etc. which typically result from poverty, unhappiness, bad eating habits, and lack of education?

There are countless people that barrade the US government for supporting Israel. Do all of you people realize that Israel is the US's ally, and that they support us too when they can? And what about France. They constantly are backing out of supporting what we do, and recently sided with Hezbolla in peace talks. Have people forgotten about thier allies?

How would YOU feel if you had no friends to come to your aid?

A peace plan for the middle-east.

The Israeli government divides all its' assets between the Israeli people. The USA grants them all VISAs to enter and become citizens.
The USA can give them a few bucks too, it'll be cheaper than assisting the Israeli people by financing a war for them.

Israel gets returned to the Palestinian people.

The Arab world sees that the Christian Western world can behave honourably, with grace and foresight.

There is no more conflict on that sandy soil between the Jew and the Arab.

Peace reigns.

Person committed petty theft and the items were valued at $95. The guy doesn't have money for an attorney, and is worried about losing his job(s) because he keeps calling off due to these legal matters, as well as he can go to jail. His official court date in September, after he starts school, but he is allowed to go any mon-fri between 8-9, prior to 9/11. He plans to go Wed 8/23. He is guilty of the crime and expresses sincere remorse and needs advice. Personally, I don't know what to tell him. He's not a bad guy and has no prior criminal record, I'm just worried about him possibly representing himself and ending up in jail. Problem is that even though he's a great person and all, the judge doesn't know that, and will only be considering what he's done. (Which is, shoplifting a few movies...and lying to the store about why...but he plans to come clean in court, whatever the outcome)

I came here for honest advice, not bashing of any kind, so only reply if you're helping out.

My 12 year old nephew broke his arm in PE class. It was the last lesson of the day. The PE teacher didn't take my nephew to hospital because he thought there was nothing wrong with his arm and "he had a lot of marking to do" (I'm deadly serious). My nephew had to travel four miles home by bus (changing buses) on his own and his parents took him to hospital that evening. I'm usually against this sue/compensation culture but on this occasion I've changed my mind. What do you think?

Do you think we should just pack up and leave? What about Iraq what would happen to them if we left and let them get to it?

I think that we would have to deal with Iraq in a couple years if we just left. Another point is that rebuilding a country takes a great deal of time. Another point is that World War II, the war with the German and Japanese Nazis, really began with a "whimper" in 1928. It did not begin with Pearl Harbor. It began with the Japanese invasion of China. It was a war for f ourteen years before America joined it. It officially ended in 194 5 - a 17 year war - and was followed by another decade of US occupation in Germany and Japan to get those countries reconstructed and running on their own again ... a 27- year war. . . . . what do you think?
