Depends, on where you wanna live in England or Germany.
I love London (though I live in Germany) and spend there 6 weeks once for working and living and go there every year. But everything is soooo expensive there. The South of England is nice, too - but don´t know about the costs to live there.
Germany is great. But it depends on where you wanna go and what you wanna do there. A large town like Berlin or Munich (expensive, too) ... North, South, East, West? Mountains, beach or rivers?

Germany, Great food, Great culture, Great people. the German people gave alot to the world in music, science, literature, and culure. Oh, and Germany isn't Naziland. Hitler was never very popular in Germany (and was only a German citizen for 13 years), and never won an election. Most Germans who lived during the war consider that the Third Reich occupied Germany, and viewed the allies as liberators. Americans need to get over their obsession with Hitler, there's over a thousand years of positive German history to choose from.

Germany goes to great pains to separate themselves from Hitler. Nazi's aren't allowed to congregate or protest, and freedom of speech is limited where even if you can prove something is correct that is disagreed with Jews or the Nazi go go to jail. Don't you even remember a few months ago when Iran denied the Holocaust the PM of Germany went on international TV to assure Isreal what happened to them in Germany would never ever happen again and repeatedly apologized?

Deutschland of course. (Germany if ya don't know) Back a good 60 or 70 years ago my favourite man was large and in charge there so I'd love to live there, get some culture, history, meet some real men (Germans) etc.
