No, we are no where near a world war. Both of the previous world wars had 10 to 20 million troops involved in the conflicts on each side.
In WWII the Germans lost 3 million soldiers dead on the Russian front alone. 20 million Soviets died. The US had over 200,000 dead. The conflict covered 90% of Europe and perhaps a third of Asia.
The current conflicts in the Middle East are less than tenth the size of either of the two world wars.
The situation is a horrible thing, but it does not compare to a World War.

When the strategic super powers get into the act ....on opposite sides, then we'll talk WWIII. Until then, the middle east is a side show among rump states...albeit a dangerous spark to a larger conflagaration. Remember the 6- days War had Israel facing off with Egypt, Syria and Jordan, and it wasn't considered the start of WWIII, altho it had the potential... It all boils down to the actions of the strategic powers (US, Russia and China).

Umm, sorry to break the news to the sheople in our country of diversionary media tactics, but wwiii started in 1998 with the passage of legislation allowing chemtrails to occur so long as nobody complained, that so few people have yet to realize is the current method of genocide, particularly in the northern hemisphere across continents and nations. That my friend is WWIII. Try to wakeup and see what is actually going on, please. Search Monsanto and chemtrails for starters, and don t get diverted by Core Curriculum, which is crazy but isn t killing us.

This is not World War III. It has the seeds to be a world conflict but most likely wont get that far. in order for a World War to take place youd need large power blocs lined up against each other. That isnt happening. it could happen but this isnt it...yet. You could have a worldwide war on terrorists but again they are so fragmented that it would be more like several smaller conflicts as opposed to one large one.

What's happening now is not wwiii. You would have to have several major super powers involved and a clear enemy. The war on terror has no clear enemy. We have not seen the worst of it yet. It will come.

What is going on now, is the beginnings of WWIII.
While not WWIII itself, the terrorism & N.K & IRAN will be factors in the upcoming WWIII.

Seems like it's just getting started now. Wait till the next terrorist attack. Then things will really start heating up.
