What happens if an insect falls in a cup of coffee?
The British : will throw the cup into the street and leave the coffee shop for good.
The American : will get the insect out and drink the coffee.
The Chinese: will eat the insect and drink the coffee.

Johnny Depp is of course free to hate the country that made him super filthy rich, but my question is why Americans still accept him? If Depp apologized, that might be one thing, but he instead claimed that the remarks were taken "out of context".

Read the above quotes again and tell me what possible context could have mitigated these remarks? Out of context scenarios are stuff like "Jen's ugly" when the complete statement was "I heard Tom say "Jen's ugly".

I belive it violates my 4th Admenent rights, unresonable search? I went threw one last night I wasnt drinking but yet I have to wait 15 minutes by 30 cop cars and must show my ID and answer a bunch of stupid questions and why? What did I do? I just happen to be driving down the road... I read that 11 states have banned such checkpoints because they belive it violates our US constitution as well as their own states legislature. Whats your take on them?

Considering that there are millions of people licensed to carry concealed firearms why don't we hear more about the crimes these people commit?

Is it because they are in fact law-abiding people and their carrying of concealed firearms is not an issue?

Or is it something else?

I'm wondering because I know many people who are dead set against US citizens owning firearms. These same people, however, know little or nothing about firearms - is seems that they just know that they're "bad" and should be prohibited.

When I mention to these anti-gun folks the fact that there are millions of CCW permit holders they are simply unable to wrap their minds around the fact. The idea that people, perhaps in their very own community, are running around with loaded guns frightens them quite a bit.

The fact that, generally speaking, the same people legally carrying loaded guns are not committing crimes (and may occasionally prevent them) doesn't seem to faze them at all.

What's up?

my wife left the state of tennessee with my children and is currently receiving child support and she will not allow me to have contact with them after our divorce. the judge has established that i can have visitation anytime i can see them, but see will not allow that even when i am paying her child support.

I am hitting all kinds of road blocks trying get some help with these matters. Both of us are on fixed incomes and can not afford a lawyer. We are getting killed inside the court house without proper guidance. We are both disable from state and without help we will be forced to the streets. We don't know where to turn to now. We tried Legal Aide and they won't even look our way. Please help!

My former employer, whouse to ship in illegals from the boarder states got sued and lost .... They need to pay out a set amount of 690,000 divided amoung the people that were employed at the time. On a good note, most of these people were illegals and from the routine they worked , most had false I.D. and possibley are not in the country any more .... I'm hoping this means I get a larger piece of the pie .


The company got sued for forcing people ( mostly illegals) to work with out breaks, cutting break times short, and punch out a few minutes before the end of shift so they would lose their 40 hr a week bounace pay. Most of these did not apply to me since I was a electrician & mechanic.


This is not the firsttime this company has been sued for this, so I tend to wonder if the rules for hiring illegals needs to be tuffer. Breaking it down, if the number of people that are able to recive the money is 320, broke down that is just over 2k each .

because of who they are . lots of times they are denied a job by many .

wouldn't it be a good idea to erase the criminal records or to not requiere them to report those records to those which have been at least 10 years whit a clean record and are not dangereous to society ( rapist , murderers and others alike should not be included ).

I am a teacher...But I'm getting of giving 100% effort for everyone else
and getting pooped on by everyone for my efforts.
I am intelligent and already have a Masters. Its time to give a 100% effort into a proffession that will reward me for my efforts.

I would like to go into law....I am considering it heavily. What should I do first? Tests ? funding? entrance examines? prep? study? look for schools? Iif you know a good web site for perspective lawyers.

Did you know that in florida Black Military were targeted, for illegal list meant to constest votes.

The scam was that republican offices would send a letter to targeted Black Military persons U.S addresses, while they were overseas, this letter asked to confirm that so and so lived at that address. Since the people were overseas....

the letter would be forwarded right? Wrong, the letters were specifically marked not to be forwarded and hence sent back to thier headquaters and another name added to list to contest votes.

i am not kidding.

The question is....

I've heard some of these Illegals who spout off about being proud of there country and all. I ask what does it say of a country that half the population wanna leave. Apparently Mexicans don't know how to manage there own country or are simply Unwilling to fix it. WHY? Nobody handed America what we have. Americans have made Great sacrafices to make America GREAT. Maybe Mexicans need to try the same approach in there country and half teh people wouldn't wanna leave.

Why do the illegal immagrants, while they are doing their stupid protests, carry the mexican flag and scream viva mexico or something like that? If they actually wanted to become real americans they would be filling out forms so they could gain citizenship, and waving the beautiful american flag!

My neigbor recently immigrated from mexico LEGALLY and he doesnt care about the protests and such, because the ones that are protesting are all ILLEGAL!!!!!

The solution:
next time there is a big protest, gather them all up and check if they have valid id's, ssn's, visa's ect. If not SHIP EM' OUT OF HERE!!

My daughter ordered Lois and Clark from there and what she got was bad quality DVDs that were obviously burnt from TV, TNT was in the corner of the screen and the quality was not DVD quality. Turns out that this company is in Canada. She sent an email to complain and they freely aknowledged that these were recorded from TV. They also gave her money back with no complaint at all. I know in the United States, this is copywrite infringement and you would goto jail.
