I've heard some of these Illegals who spout off about being proud of there country and all. I ask what does it say of a country that half the population wanna leave. Apparently Mexicans don't know how to manage there own country or are simply Unwilling to fix it. WHY? Nobody handed America what we have. Americans have made Great sacrafices to make America GREAT. Maybe Mexicans need to try the same approach in there country and half teh people wouldn't wanna leave.

More importantly, what does it say about their people who would rather leave than stay and fight to make their own country better? Sounds like a bunch of cowards to me.

You're right, the Major Problem here is Mexico...if I was really really proud of something, I'd keep it, and fix it up.

They can fly their colors all day long, it doesn't change the illegal status of a lot of em by one teeny bit. Furthermore the LEGAL immigrants and their descendants seem to be giving them the cold shoulder...it certainly sucks to be them, can't blame em for wanting a better life, who doesn't, but the reason we've got it better(for the most part, there's poverty out there, too) than Mexico does is because people at least TRY to fix stuff up and make it right instead of just bolting for the door....gotta at least try, and there's some problems that are really hard to fix, but nothing's impossible if enough people decide to work together to get it done, whatever 'it' is.

Since they have all these global foundations and all that other stuff, why not have a worldwide 'pass the hat' campaign to help Mexico stand up and fly right? They need the money, and it'd be a good chance for some other countries out there to exhibit a little generosity, for a change...or, maybe, there's no real problem other than the one the politicians cooked up this time, and it's all just a giant spectacle to get us to sign off on more unpayable debt and secure their seats for the next election...some people don't change, politicians are part of that 'some people' group...they want'cha money, and that's really about all there is to it.

I think the border issue is/has elements of that in it. If I was a shady mechanic, and I SORT of fixed your car, you'd go 100 miles down the road, have another problem, and have to find another mechanic. Or, you'd have to call my buddy with the tow truck....he takes care of me, I take care of him...friends, working together! Ah, friends...

I find this funny, everyone on here has said they are proud to be an American yet the government is corrupt How ever we have certain freedoms others do not and we at least a small say in what happens. We do have the resources to continue to live in a somewhat comfortable life style with some say on how to use those resources are used. The Mexican government is corrupt how ever they do not have the freedoms we have to" fix their government or Country so it makes sense to come here.

It tells me that 50% have little or no loyalty to their country, that they fear the corruption that has established it's self as Mexican "culture". It tells me that those in mexico that have been able to consider themselves the "elite" have done and are doing little or nothing to help that nation. The constitution of mexico makes it clear that they are in fact able to alter their own destiny by voting into office those people who can make a difference but they do not.

It says corruption, and the government don't care about their own people especially the elite in Mexico. They have no programs to help them and they will not raise the pay or demand a livable wage for their people.

it really is way less about Texas. i imagine boxing promoters ought to evaluate more beneficial fights be held in huge open parts like football stadiums (+50K) seats instead of massive convention centers (+15K) like in Las Vegas. more beneficial seats = more low priced fee ticket fee = more beneficial boxing followers can benefit from the strive against stay.
