Did you know that in florida Black Military were targeted, for illegal list meant to constest votes.

The scam was that republican offices would send a letter to targeted Black Military persons U.S addresses, while they were overseas, this letter asked to confirm that so and so lived at that address. Since the people were overseas....

the letter would be forwarded right? Wrong, the letters were specifically marked not to be forwarded and hence sent back to thier headquaters and another name added to list to contest votes.

i am not kidding.

The question is....
Do you think that a) racism is dead in the united states, and b) do you think republican care?

watch this its long, but it is the most important information i have ever heard.

1)if you had read the link. you would have seen that Gore contested votes that had been altered by republican operatives. by changing and adding information. seriously, you have no real grasp about what happended.

If you had watched the link you wouldn't have to ask how they knew they were black. As they also target homeless shelters. The cage lists were taken from the Republican campain. Your attempt to repeat democrat this and that doesnt' change what was done in florida.

your lack of understanding is troubling. as you are so quick to give a mistaken or misinformed opinion. replying to your mistakes feels like a waste of my time.

I added it to my watch list to watch later.

A. Geez yes racism is not only alive but thriving. Not sure where you are from but here in the south, it is pretty bad.

B. No the republicans don't care. Have you ever watched Frontline's series on Karl Rove and the way he has openly admitted to motivating prejudices with hate in order to win elections? I have a theory that he was behind the Mass. supreme court making gay marriage legal there ironically just before the presidential election for that reason. Many don't know that was suppose to be temporary and reversed this year. I figure a deal he made for it.

When you have about an hour, watch is if you haven't already.

I already knew republicans did this but had never heard it talked about or admitted as an election tool. And the sad truth is that I know this 100% because I was one of them. I was a southern republican until 1990 when I switched to independent. And to be even more honest, racism was the only reason I went independent and not democrat.

You know the lingo... I hear it all the time... "..I'm not racist... I don't believe in discrimination BUT (there is always a but), those black ppl just want to live on welfare, have 10 babies and want me to support them..."

The republican party has been very successful at painting a black welfare face on the democratic party when in reality more whites are on welfare than black ppl; moreover, they did this on purpose to manipulate the vote.

Stuff like this is why I turned away from the republican party. I was never happy with myself being judgmental of a race. I educated myself on the facts and thank GOD, I changed.

Things like... it is the democratic party that is actually fighting for the poor white man that feels discriminated against today. NOT the republicans. Welfare reform was Clinton's idea and had the black caucus support for it completely. Clinton campaigned on it then the republicans, led by Gingrich, claimed it in 94 under their 'contract with America'.

Anyways, what you described is not just racism but voter fraud. I have no idea how they keep getting away with this over and over and over again.

Thats right,
the Democrats that controlled the polls contested every military vote and tried to get them thrown out completely as a whole as they vote Republican predominately, even black soldiers.
It is True Al Gore lead this attempted surpression of the vote. It is the vote that put Bush over the top. As checked in recounts by the NYTimes, LA Times, Washington Post, and many other liberal papers.

Now ask yourself how, in this propaganda that you have recieved, did the people sending out the letters know the people were "black" soldiers?
The cards sent out are to verify that people are not double voting as this person is requesting an absentee ballot and the address is now for an overseas ballot. This is not a conspiracy.

I was a Voting officer in the US Army in Germany and I know this to be true as the Democrat held districts in many States always gave my soldiers a hard time when it came to absentee voting.

This propaganda you`ve recieved is a falsification of the facts intended to make you believe Republicans are racist so you will continue to vote Democrat.

Shameful.

I think that racism is something that most people LOOK for as an excuse. I don't think it is totally gone but not to the extent people want it to be. Also A.A. doesn't help any, it's just the reverse. Yes republicans care. They are trying to get rid of things like A.A. but democrates just assume that the minority needs the job more. The question is do the Democrats REALLY care. The news clip has nothing to do with racism. Oh...one more thing. Who was it the 60's who got all thoughs dead people to vote for him...J.F.K...that's right.

Military personnel who are overseas have their own balloting procedures. The votes are sent through the military post and are counted separately from regular balloting in their home districts. Point of fact, it was Democrats that made a move to disallow ALL overseas military votes - because they knew that military personnel overwhelmingly votes Republican.

do you just sit in your parent's basement and dream up ignorant and hateful questions?

that hateful attitude you have is not passion for justice, its hate and bitterness, its what isolates people like you from normal Americans of all hues---- its also one of the reasons you can't win any elections.

Nobody wants to elect a bitter and hateful person. Get used to life alone.
