Senator George Allen is quite comfortable showing America that southern states people still don't get it. Opinions and viewpoints from that part of the region are tolerant to verbal assault on non-white America citizens. All this when the whole fabric of the nations populace is growing more diverse than ever. How many generations does it take to escape the fallout mentallity displayed so precisely in the movie "Mississippi Burning"?

"Going in and occupying Iraq, thus unilaterally exceeding the U.N.'s mandate, would have destroyed the precedent of international response to aggression we hoped to establish. Had we gone the invasion route, the U.S. could conceivably still be an occupying power in a bitterly hostile land. It would have been a dramatically different--and perhaps barren--outcome."

"Trying to eliminate Saddam, extending the ground war into an occupation of Iraq, would have violated our guideline about not changing objectives in midstream, engaging in "mission creep," and would have incurred incalculable human and political costs."

Why do radical muslims hate Americans?
-What is the real issue?
-Why must innocent people die in order to get a message across?
-When will this end?

Brazil is one of the world's leading producer of Ethanol, a corn or even sugar cane by product used in place of gasoline.Brazil produces plenty of it,but there is a 4 cents/gallon tarrif on it,because Iwoa produces corn Ethanol.

If we eliminate this tarrif, wouldnt it become easier to use this fuel
on a wide scale to replace gasoline?

Seems as if real hard news stories investigating fraud and outright theft of government money is lacking .
WE know about the big dig and its over runs and the 20 + year New York water pipe project that has cost billions .
What we do not see is all the special intrest backed politicians and programs they spin off creating billions in work for thier friends back home at tax payer expense .
MILLIONS given to produce reports by law firms and special intrest groups to promote projects in communitys around america .
PUBLIC funds used for civic arena's in 30 of the top cities in america with building contractors makeing millions and also running and operating the hotels and services after construction .
THE land bought for pennies is then sold to developers cheap who then profit tremendously while using tax payer money .
MILLIONS wasted on the katrina trailers that will be acutioned off for pennies on the dollar and resold for a huge profit by a select few .
WE need to expose this waste .

without looking it up.

"It's easy ... to say that we really have no interests in who lives in this or that valley in Bosnia, or who owns a strip of brushland in the Horn of Africa, or some piece of parched earth by the Jordan River. But the true measure of our interests lies not in how small or distant these places are, or in whether we have trouble pronouncing their names. The question we must ask is, what are the consequences to our security of letting conflicts fester and spread. We cannot, indeed, we should not, do everything or be everywhere. But where our values and our interests are at stake, and where we can make a difference, we must be prepared to do so."

OJ I dont think has looked in Bangkok yet. I think the reason is that one night there can make the hard man humble.

I´m fed up of hearing that African countries are poor...let´s face it....nothing is really done to help them. The UN is one of the most corrupted organisation...the money that we contribute to the so called charities....is divided between: The program specialist, the Director of the Charity, then the bloody consultant, then the Bursar, not to forget all the other administrative staff etc. By the time the Charity is ready to send the money to Africa....well there is NOTHING left....Let´s just include them into Europe ...You will be suprised to see that some African states are full of petrol but again it is all exploted by One or two developed countries who will then pay the president of that African country enough money to keep quiet and call him a Dictator....
