There have been lots of political questions today and I just wanted to try and get an unoffical poll of how many Republicans/Democrats use this site. Also you could indicate if you are far left/right or center

"A federal judge has ruled that the federal government's warrantless wiretapping program is unconstitutional and ordered it ended immediately."

THANKS ACLU! How can we catch 'em if we can't spy on 'em??

I don't care if the GVT listens in on my conversations, I'm NOT doing anything wrong. How do you think the terrorists were caught in England? This is insane and stupid.

I was wondering whether Tony Blair has ever distributed free lapel pins to the citizens of the United Kingdom for their volunteer work, their acts of good citizenship or their virtue, dignity and honour that is their birthright (or in this case accident of birth).

If he ever does it, I would suggest that you use them to play Pin the Tail on the Donkey on his aarss.

William Jefferson Clinton, despite his very human weaknesses, was the finest Jew president the United States of America has ever had.

i don't understand it. bush haters are constantly whining about how "we're in iraq for oil and so the oil businessmen can make money" ... WELL ... YOU'RE AN OIL MONGER TOO IDIOT!!! getting oil from the mideast not only benefits the businessman BUT YOU TOO. IT PROVIDES THE ELECTRICITY FOR YOU USE YOUR COMPUTER TO TYPE POINTLESS ANTI-BUSH RANTS ON. IT PROVIDES THE GAS FOR YOU TO TAKE YOUR KIDS TO SOCCER PRACTICE. IT PROVIDES THE ENERGY YOU REQUIRE TO COOL YOUR HOMES, TO REFRIDGERATE YOUR FOOD.

do you see the hypocrisy in your "anti-war/anti-oil" stance?

why did Israel bomb civilian buildings in Beirot, where not a single rocket was luanched from there (western journalists and embassies are witnesses) , these buildings were full of civilians (innocent civilians) ,
now as a direct result of Israel irresponsible, inhuman actions, those civilians are more likely to turn into suicide bombers after the trauma they've been through, so many years of their lives just vaporized in the air, imagine you are 35y/o spent 10 years raising 3 kids, and in one day, you find your family all dead, homless , . . .

(please don't compare what hezballa did with what Israeli did,we will discuss that another time..and Israel is supposed to be the oasis of civilization, and should not behave as a blood-thirsty monester ..)

"It's easy ... to say that we really have no interests in who lives in this or that valley in Bosnia, or who owns a strip of brushland in the Horn of Africa, or some piece of parched earth by the Jordan River. But the true measure of our interests lies not in how small or distant these places are, or in whether we have trouble pronouncing their names. The question we must ask is, what are the consequences to our security of letting conflicts fester and spread. We cannot, indeed, we should not, do everything or be everywhere. But where our values and our interests are at stake, and where we can make a difference, we must be prepared to do so."

I vote for Gore. He won the vote. The Republicans stole the election. Damn electoral college.

Looking over these years we have been dealing with Bush( and I don't totally despise him), it makes me wonder how great a president Gore could have been. He is an idealist and extremely smart. We have seen the likes of talent in him in a long time.
