I do not believe in revenge. I believe in Justice, and the lousy bush administration can't even do that.

My guess is this question isn't really meant to be answered. It's just a rhetorical insult slung at anyone who isn't part of the talk radio/Fox News/Newsmax audience.

If you're talking about who forgot 9/11 that would seem to be Bush. He quietly disbanded the FBI team that was hunting OBL over a year and has not mentioned OBL's name since October of 2004 and it had been 2 1/2 years since he had mentioned it at that point. As the recent foiled attempt in the UK proves, the Brits are in the game but we are just as asleep at the wheel before 9/11.

Doc 8, the Bush Administration had already announced the SWIFT program twice in previous years before the NYT ever printed the story. The accusations of traitor are just propaganda for the Hannity Limbaugh audience that is never going to investigate further than whatever their favorite host ranted about.

Kevin_W, do you really even KNOW what socialist means? Because if by socialism you mean big government, massive bureaucracy, censorship, and repressing the individual you'd mean the practices of the Bush Administration. I don't think you did, though. I think you meant "people who I don't like".

I am liberal, a Democrat, and I don't 'hate' anybody, including Republicans, imagine that! Have the two parties become so polarized that all you people can do is bicker back and forth? No wonder why our government is in a state of chaos.

The turth is we are ALL Americans, and no American should forget what happened on 9/11, but that doesnt mean you have to live your life around it or be in a constant state of fear because of it. Relax a little!

The bottom line is, if terrorist tried to repeat that attack again today they would have a VERY tough time...from the U.S. Marshalls that now ride on the planes to all the new airport security measures, righ down to fellow passengers who, this time around, would know what's up and probably do something similar to the passengers on Flight 93 when they learned what their plane was going to be used for.

So no, I don't think anyone, including most liberals, forgot about 9/11, it's just we don't center our lives around one single terrorist attack that, thanks to our increased security measures, probably won't happen again...at leats not that exact scenario.

Stop lumping liberals into one group that don't care about the security of this country. Because the bottom line is I think every person in America cares enough to not want another terrorist attack. When all our security measures went in place after the London take-down of terrorists, did you see any liberals go 'Oh my god i can't believe the government is making us take our shoes off now' or 'This is way to militant for us'? No, you had unified support over the actions the FBI and DHS took. Both from Democratsand Republicans...so stop your whining!

Liberals do not forget 9/11. There is the first fault in your question.

The victims do need to be honored, and they are every day by those who walk by the remains of the Trade Center. But avenged? [There is another fault, you used the wrong word] No.
I don't think revenge was the proper action, especially for a country that is so self-proclaimed to be more civilized than the rest of the world. It doesn't make sense that we revert to another Viet Nam in order to "avenge" something.

Considering that the 9/11 attacks were on the ultra liberal stronghold of NYC, no liberals don't forget 9/11. Liberals are angry though that the search team for the engineer of 9/11, Osama Bin Laden was called off this July 4th. We are angry that the country that financially backed it, Saudi Arabia enjoys the wealth of oil revenue from us every day. I suppose that if you use your brain I wouldn't have to explain this to you, but then again you are a conservative, so brain usage is minimal for you.

No libs have forgotten 9/11. We just don't use 9/11 to brow beat people to our position.

Here's my question: Why is it that libs are the ONLY ones pissed off that the units created to find Osama Bin Laden have all been disbanded by order of YOUR President?

I'll never forget 9/11, I lost 5 friends that day. I doubt seriously that they would want their deaths avenged by invading Iraq and causing a civil war. Avenging their deaths would have been concentrating on finding Osama bin Laden in Afghanistan. I doubt that he was ever in Iraq. I doubt that yellowcake was ever in Iraq.

Uh, please explain again how many of the 19 hijackers came from Iraq?

At last count, there were ZERO. Nada. Zilch.

Libs remember. Con Scum forgot from day 1 and in fact your ape prez let it happen. That's called treason. That's why he should be hanged. That's why Bush supporters should be shot.

For the same reason the NY Times gives AlQueada all our secret methods of spying on them? They want to get back in office by fair means or foul and hate the Republicans.
