Who knows if in fact they have found the murderer? It has always been a problem when the parents get lawyers before they were ever suspected of any thing. If it had been my child the last thing Id think about would be getting myself a lawyer. But then I would never have prostituted my beautiful daughter to the public as they did that poor little girl/woman,.They dressed her as an adult and placed her in the seedy world of "beauty"pageants.I will forever think the mother ,tho now dead, killed the little girl from jealousy because the father was sexually abusing the child. Many facts pointed to this theory but the case was so botched by the law and its agents .Only time will tell .Perhaps Mrs.Ramsey in getting her punishment as we speak. And that poor little girl is at peace.

very careful police work. As it turns out...the "information super-highway" led authorities to him. And..they have been watching this guy for quite some time now...it was just a matter of time before an arrest was made. Even Jon Bonet''s mother had received letters and emails from this guy. The family and investigators knew this guy all along..it was just a matter of "getting the evidence right". Of course, this is America...so politics had alot to do with it.

They had to wait till they confessed. I hope this is the real killer because then the family can have some closure. It will be interesting if all the facts do come out though.

I wouldn't jump the gun, this guy wants out of Thailand..... From what I have heard, he researched the Ramsey murder.... he planned on including it in a book.... and I wouldn't give a nickle for the "facts" known only to the police..... that case had leaks of info constantly and just under 10 years for those "facts" to be distributed.
It will probably take a DNA match to convince anyone that he did it.

Reality follows the media. Once the media decided to crucify the parents (and even the 9-year-old brother, if I recall) as the killers, all eyes including those of investigators were on the family. They had their story in their minds and stuck to it for the most part.

Because the Boulder police focused on the Ramsey's instead of finding the real killer....The Ramsey's didn't help because they refused to corporate with Boulder police....Just poor police work...Honestly, if I were the parents I would have fully corporated, but the Ramsey's saw it as an invasion of privacy....It was a complicated case, either way....
Its not over yet....

A majority of murders never get solved at all. If there is no connection it's hard to find the killer.

I'm not sold on the idea that he's the one yet. I just answered another question where I said that I think he confessed to an American crime in order not to be sent to a Thailand prison for crimes he committed there. I hope I'm wrong, but his answers to questions seem really strange.

I believe that we should be thankful that the guy was caught in Bangkok so if the police in Bangkok torture a confession it's stiil admissible in the US criminal trial...and US law enforcement doesn't have to take a hit....
