With so much corruption at a global level, should there be harsher penalties eg life imprisonment, bearing in mind that many countries remain poor as a direct result of the top few scamming the entire country.

I have notice that they too are joining the armed services and dying for this country in all wars fought for freedom. I hate when they take that right from a citizen of this nation. Lets hear from all of those at home behind a computer wanting these people out of this country and willing to take their place in Iraq or Afganistan. Lest make sure we take them out of Iraq and send them back to Mexico and one of us can replace him/her. Princess, its time for you to put your best foot forward and fight for your country. Uncle Sam wants you now. Take that job away from those illegals in the military.

I have asked a couple Israeli questions and believe me I am tired of them too but I got no Lebanese responses.

This worries me. Are they ok? Has Israel done gone mad and did the nuke thing?

Btw, I dated a girl once from Lebanon and let me tell you... they are about as liberal and democratic as you can get. She was one of the first ppl who taught me to think past propaganda.

I dont care what anybody says... you can not blame the Lebanese for Hezbollah's sins.

my aunt just returned from a visit to Washington d.c she brought my kids back gifts and one of the things they got were red white and blue pens with the capital on them. the funny part was the only writing on the pen was " made in china".
Am I the only one thats sees somin wrong with this picture?

A cease-fire has been implemented b/n two warring parties and is in effect but Hezballah was unable to disarmed by Israel, et al., despite the show of force and offensive they made. Some Israelis felt that that war has given a draw for both, but some felt (reports from Yahoo! news) it's the Hezballah who did really won. Who do you think?

Once you understand one crucial fact, that numerous prominent Democrats with access to intelligence data also openly declared and obviously believed that Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction, it becomes nearly impossible for a rational person to believe that Bush lied about WMDs in Iraq. We're not talking about small fry or just proponents of the war either. The aforementioned Democrats include Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton, Al Gore, John Kerry, John Edwards, Robert Byrd, Henry Waxman, Tom Daschle, and Nancy Pelosi among many, many others. Just to hammer the point home, here's a quote from the 800 pound gorilla of the Democratic Party, Hillary Clinton, that was made on Oct 8, 2002:
"In the four years since the inspectors left, intelligence reports show that Saddam Hussein has worked to rebuild his chemical and biological weapons stock, his missile delivery capability, and his nuclear program. He has also given aid, comfort, and sanctuary to terrorists, including Al Qaeda members, though there is apparently no evidence of his involvement in the terrible events of September 11, 2001.
