Palestine is found in TX, AR, IN, IL, OH, AL, CN

Israel is found in the Hebrew Bible as the same land as Palestine. Genesis 32:28.
Palestine is just a name they used from then up till now. I am not convinced that they have different roots and that the name "Palestine" is substantially more accurate than the name "Israel".

I am for Israel. The so called "Palestine" has never existed as a country. When the Arabs last had hold of Jerusalem they destroyed all the Jewish sites and desecrated the cemeteries, this was all done between 1948 and 1967. How can we trust the Arabs when they still call for the total destruction of Israel s Hamas and Fatah do, there is no point trying to make peace. The whole thing about creating a "Palestine" is a ruse for the palestinians to get a foothold in the West Bank and then move on to destroy Israel. I mean, why before 1967 when Jordan controlled the West Bank was their no cry for the Palestinians then for a state? Why did they only want it AFTER Israel was there? And why have they continually said no to any offers for statehood, including in 2000 at Camp David All those who think Palestinians want a state and that is all, please read the Palestinian charter about detroying Israel. If they have a state the violence will increase because they will be closer to their aim of destroying Israel also consider there has NEVER EVER been a state of Palestine. NEVER!. Israel did not kick out the palestinians of the West Bank, because they NEVER controlled it in the first place. Before 1967 it was part of Jordon, not Palestine. Israel attempted to return that land back, and Jordan said no. Israel has alo attempted to give the West banl to Palestinians,and they have said no. Any attempts to give them one they have rejected. Yasser Arrafat admitted himself that the talks at camp David were all a ruse to get a foothold. you all say the jews won't share. The middle East is huge. Israel is tiny. It's the Arab who won't share. Israel wants just one tiny bit, and the Arabs won't leave them in peace. First there are plenty of Christians and Christian sites in Palestinian and other Muslim dominated territories (Example: Jericho) with many Christians living there for many generations. Also Muslim have been in control of Jerusalem before and Christian sites made it just fine. In fact there are a lot of Muslim living in Jerusalem and Tel-Aviv today. I could not tell you exactly but would not be surprise if they are >40% of the population of those Cities. I'm just stating facts and not advocating for a take over either. Do you say Christians incinerated six millions jews in Europe, after all 'funny mustache' claimed he was a Christian? The point is that the pricks that destroyed the Bamiyan statues where and are as much Muslim as Hitler was a Christian. The fact is that this conflict is never going to end because although must Jewish and Arabic Muslim have lived there in peace and for a long time. There are some powerful entities (in both sides) using religion to manipulate the people in order to gain or retain land. For as long as there is no secular approach or commitment from those states there will not be peace and the US should keep its own.

Palestine is a biblical name for a region, which included the people of Israel (jews), arabs, christians, semites, assyrians, simkassians and others. It was never a country until it became a convienient way of carving up north africa for colonial powers in ther last century.

The name Palestine would have been given to places in the U.S by the Christian founding fathers in the same way that they gave the name Jerusalem, and Salem and other names from the Christian bible.

Christians at that time were still blaming the jews for killing jesus.

Don't forget that most American Jews are relatively recent arrivals in America having gone there in the early 20th century when they fled persecution in Europe. It was a bit late then to start re-naming places.

God gave those lands to Israel. The Jewish people are Israelites hence Israel. We zionist as you refer to us as have the brains and sence not to try and deny that the real owner of the lands of the earth is God Allmighty. I would rather be a zionist standing on the side of God and Israel ( Gods chosen People ) than to be on the contemporary Palestinian peoples side. Wow - you are absolutely correct. I searched the US Postal Service city directory and there wasn't one city in the US named Isreal.

My thoughts are that Isreal has only been a country since 1949. There haven't been too many new cities founded in the US since that time - so perhaps that is why.
