Hell no, the day the cops actually stop some nefarious plot using the information they gathered using the patriot act is the day Paris Hilton shows up at my door to take me shopping. The act is just a way for the government to gain power, nothing more nothing less.

No, I feel it unjustly infringes upon my rights. There are worrying stories about it being used to lock up people unrelated to terrorism there were 3 americans down in Guantanamo Bay who were arrested for some trivial thing. It is only the start as well things will become more and more monitored, and more and more 1984ish.

I do not. the patriot act is blatantly unconstitional in several places. The patriot act would be more aptly named the "treason act".

NO. It's both unconstitutional in its main parts, and ineffective. People who trade their freedom for safety end up without both.

I do not. It is an unnecessary extension of executive powers, powers that are especially prone to abuse.
