It seems more often more Canadian soldiers are coming home in boxes as a result of the conservative party and its policy on Afghanistan. Did the voters of Canada actually expect this comittment of Stephen Harper to aid and increase our activity in this conflict and are the deaths worth it.

I mean people are saying hizballah fired missiles at civilians but the death tolls say a diferent thing. Over 70% of israelis killed are military compared to 10% lebanese killed involved in either the army or hizballah. Also they have found evidence of the use of cluster munitions and incidery (not sure if i spelt it right) bombs in Lebanon both being banned by a 1980 agreement. Alsowhy arent we blaming armerica for supplying israel but are blaming iran for supplying hizballah

Why are the English having to be dragged kicking and screaming in to the 24 hour society?

Its here - 9-5 is gone or going !
Why can we only look back all the time ?
And most of all - Why are the English so bloody mean with our cities and towns infrastructure - and absolutely obsessed with charity !
E.g. why should we have to give blood - if they want to pay me for it - I'd be at the hospital every bloody day - and then there would be no shortage would there - Why can't they get that through there thick heads ?

I was driving through rural Maine recently and I saw a curious site. Along the road, there were dozens of small red-on-white signs that said "Fire Lane XX" (where XX was some unique number), typically next to unpaved driveways. They were interspersed among houses and regular driveways; it fact it looked like residential driveways had been designated as such. Obviously they have something to do with fires. They didn't appear to be connected with a state park or forest, as they were on both sides of the road and it seemed too widespread to border on some central area. Another possibility is that they just have so much wooded area in Maine that even private property requires fire access. Also, what significance do the numbers have? Is it merely a way to identify where the fire is? How are these things used?

Well;because of something which i call it mental war you think we are terrorist! But you'd better know that the worse terrorist on the earth is your governments! They are killing muslim people in thier country and call it protection for peace and who wants to defense his country is called a terrorist . isn't funny? A freind of mine is in jail in Tulsa, OK based on charges brought by a disgruntled former spouse. Initial charges were Driving on susspended liscence, Illeagl posession of a fire arm, Theft of propert over $1000 dolars (the item was given to my friend almost a year ago as a gift and all of a sudden in July it beomes "stolen" property) and failure to pay child support although children are were living with her. The first two charges have magically gone away since her spouse now has the children. If cleared on the ohter 2 does ahe have any leagl recourse against her ex?

I'm getting sick of (mostly, but not exclusively) democrat politicians who keep preventing the exploitation of our own oil. Who keep blocking the construction of new refineries. Who keep slapping tax after tax on fuel. That is the reason why fuel is so expensive now. ANWR drilling now, who cares about some stupid caribou.
