This mornings yahoo news makes it clearer ever day. Israel is given a free pass to murder children and Condi Rice merely says "its a difficult thing" NO call fo immediate cease fire? People PLEASE cant we do something? This is not israel defending itself! Anyone who still thinks that is caught in the manipulation. who, out ther, like me (either in the last few weeks or even years)started out believing that israel was justified, but after really looking into the facts saw hypocricy and unjustified violence to a shocking degree? What are your ideas for pushing our leaders into demanding a cease fire? not that it would work, but we still need to act like thinking americans with solutions! what can we do?

A midwestern state recently sold the state turnpike to Communist China to get some needed money. Do you think public assets like the TVA or your water supply, or highways you drive on, or state colleges and universities, or national parks like Yosemite or Yellowstone or the Grand Canyon, should be sold to Communist China or other investors to pay off the national debt? Or would it make more sense to raise taxes on billionaires, or end the war? Sincere answers, please.

My son was arrested 11/2 years ago.He got a high fine for having a broken ink pen and a very small amount of meth in his truck. He went to court and they put him in Drug Court classes. He went 3 times a week. Drug tested 3 times a week. Home work etc. Have to go to 5 NA meetings a week and keep a full time job. His meeting were 8:00 till 10:00 3 times a week and was to graduate to phase 2 this week. His probation office has harrassed him from the get go.I have plenty of evidence on the harressment. Her threats has made him loose his mind and he could not handle this anymore. it was bad. He went across the state line to go to work to send money back to pay his fines off and his plans were to come back and turn himself in after he made the money. His probation officier made it inpossible for him to keep a job to pay fines and they were all due.A cop profiled him in Louisisana. And now in jail waiting extradition. What can i do for him? Is a verbal hold enough to keep him in jail there?

I look to understand other people in my country, but I can not! How can Americans be so blind and so ignorant. I look at many of the answers supplied on this "ask a question" & I cringe!!! I thought the internet was the best of the best......or more intelligent people, but then I see questions like "do you think George Bush is doing a good job" and people answer "yes and he's doing a great job" and all I want to do is become an ex-pat. My family has been here in the US for 8 generations.....many have fought in wars, most of us have been military (including myself), but in honesty what I see today in the US....is just garbage in and garbage out. More people know the names of American Idol contestants than heads of state, members of congress or their state representatives. Then these same morons want to talk about Christ, Religion and how good the US is in the world??? It really burns me up to know that my family and myself have put ourselves on the line for such IGNORANCE!!

34 children among 56 dead in Israeli strike By K GANNON, Associated Press.
QANA, Lebanon - Israeli missiles hit several buildings in a southern Lebanon village as people slept Sunday, killing at least 56, most of them children, in the deadliest attack in 19 days of fighting. President Bush said this is the proud American way. We are happy about that.

Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert said "This is great " for the airstrikes but blamed Hezbollah guerrillas for using the area to launch rockets at Israel, and said he would not halt the army's operation. "We hope to kill more" he said.

The Lebanese Red Cross said the airstrike in Qana, in which at least 34 children were killed, pushed the overall death toll to more than 500. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice postponed a visit to Lebanon in a setback for diplomatic efforts to end hostilities. She was to return to the U.S. Monday..

Bush said this was the way it is going to be. We will not stop. No matter what.

Democracy "Representation of the people" oxford dictionary.

Who are the US, Britain and Israel to tell the Lebanese people who should represent them? Bush and Blair do not even enjoy the popular votes in their own countries. This a major case of hypocrisy.

Israeli missiles hit several buildings in a southern Lebanon village as people slept Sunday, killing at least 56, most of them children, in the deadliest attack in 19 days of fighting.
Today the toll has risen to 600 mostly civilians and children.
Olmert says he feels sorrow but he also says he;s still going to carry his attacks on Lebanon. Moreover they say they warned the people of this village to move out .. but how can they move out if Israel has struck all the bridges and roads out of the village plus the gas stations. and when they decide to leave there cars are bombed although they carry white flags showing no harm. Makes any sense ?

Calling all !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
At the moment these haters have a 50 percent positive aproval rating.I for one can not stand it.Let's unite. We disagree on many issues but let's show these clowns that their hatred is doomed to fail.
We as a community need to bring that percentage down or it's a stain on all of us.

Imagine there's no heaven:
It's easy if you try.
No hell bellow us,
Above us only sky.
Imagin all the people
Living for today
Aha. . .

Imagine there's no countries:
It isn't hard to do.
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too.
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace
Yoo hoo!

You may say I'm a dreamer,
But I'm not the only one.
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will be one.

Imagine no possessions:
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger,
A brotherhood of man.
Imagine all the people,
Sharing all the world
Yoo hoo!

You may say I'm a dreamer,
But I'm not the only one.
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will live as one.

i am just thinking that sadaam hussien used chemical weapons on the kurds, the reason was that kurds were trying to form their own country, and with the bulk of the iraqi army destroyed, they didn't have the conventional military power to counter the uprising, so they had to use chemical weapons, you think america would ever do the same to its own poeple if the same situation?

Rumor has it that the big oil companies donated like $65 million dollars to the republican party in order to help with their campaigns. It is also said that this is the reason why our republican goverment hasn't done anything about the sky rocketing gas prices. If this is actually the case then next election would it be wiser to choose a Democrat in office and hope the can get our economy back on track?
