Because Israel stinks. And don't forget, but yeah it's not so easy for American people who don't even know there own history, after the second world war the "removal" from a lot of Jewish people to the middle east was arranged by the allied powers. In 1932 Hitler asked them to get out of Germany and now it comes: nobody else wanted them, so they had to find a solution and why not give them a piece of land in the middle of the Arabic zone and so the allied powers also had a foot on land in that zone?
Anti Israel? Afraid for Muslims? Go back to school or at least open your eyes and see the reality and don't cry for help if the boomerang comes back to us one day because it will. The western countries are still acting as bloody conqueror's saying they bring peace and democracy. It would better to live all together in respect for each other and make this world a better place to be without weapons.
And a last line: sorry for all those soldiers who are still believing they are fighting for the right case, they are fighting to fulfill the crazy dreams of those dictators. If they stop then the war stops because the dictator will wet his pants if we would place them in an arena to fight against the other dictator.

Jeremy Paxman summed it up on Newsnight. He said (and I paraphrase') ' This is like, if the IRA had killed two Soldiers in Belfast, and we had bombed the whole of Cork'. What Israel has done is mad & appalling. The news reporting has nothing to do with not offending Muslims (classic racist statement there) but in informing us of the horrors Israel has unleashed against a totally innocent population. I suggest you get your facts straight before asking this kind of leading and biased question. The idiot who said that Europeans are anti Israel might want to remember that it was my Grandfather (British) and his fellow Soldiers who liberated the Jews from concentration camps.

It seems that most of Europe is anti-Israeli well those in Canada and the United States are pro-Israel. Maybe being anti-Jewish is so in-grained in the minds of Euro's that they don't know any other way to think.
