Artista: Beatles
Música: Imagine
Imagine there's no heaven:
It's easy if you try.
No hell bellow us,
Above us only sky.
Imagin all the people
Living for today
Aha. . .
Imagine there's no countries:
It isn't hard to do.
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too.
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace
Yoo hoo!
You may say I'm a dreamer,
But I'm not the only one.
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will be one.
Imagine no possessions:
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger,
A brotherhood of man.
Imagine all the people,
Sharing all the world
Yoo hoo!
You may say I'm a dreamer,
But I'm not the only one.
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will live as one.

You live in LA-LA Land. The only way to end conflict is through military defeat. The terrorists want to kill us, so we go and kill them. After that, we spread freedom and free enterprise.

Yes, this is an awesome song. The viewpoint could be used to end war, hunger, poverty, and all the worlds tragedies. I don't agree with all the lyrics. I believe in God an heaven....but the idea of the song is loving one another unconditionally and giving/sharing with one another without expecting anything in return. This would transcend any religous or country boundaries. It's what Amnesty International is all about. If everyone kept the dream alive and lived it's message, the world would be a better place. We certainly have enough resources in the world to support everyone. The world just hasn't banded together and given in mass quantities on a consistent basis. Too much greed and selfishness and watching out for ourselves first instead of the needs of others. I'm as guilty as the next as far as that goes....how do we change this cycle on a permanent basis instead of just giving during times of extreme crisis or natural disasters?

Unfortunately, that is all that is or will ever be, an imagination. As long as there's religion, there's war. Terrorists will always exists, and as long as everyone thinks they're right, everyone will be wrong because unity will never exist. Unity died with the Tower of Babel.

You will find that , down through history , the human race has found ways of avoiding war in many mediums (music , poetry, and the like), but we still haven't found quite how to implement them .

Your "dream" is more than likely the result of smoking too much marijuana. Stick with Jack Daniels. It tastes better.
