What actually happened in that election was that John Kerry actually won because he received the most votes from the public. Each state has a certain number of people in the House of Representatives. Whatever the majority of the state was (bush or Kerry) that's how many votes the candidate would win. For example, in MA there are two people in the House of Representatives. Because the majority of the people in MA voted Kerry, he received 2 votes. So in the end, Bush received more votes from the House of Representatives. That was why he won and Kerry lost, even though Kerry won the public vote.

If you want to know why Bush won over Kerry, I really can't tell you why more people voted for Bush. I would rant on about how nonsensical it is and what were they thinking, but politics tends to be a sensitive subject to the degree that we can just say what was done is done. Bush won, and that can't be changed because its in the past. But what we can do is make sure the nation is aware of the mistakes they made and not make them again in the future. I hope that helped

Because Middle America and the Religious Right wanted a President who shared their views, not someone whose spoke over their heads. They preferred a man who successfully avoided going to Viet Nam over one who went, returned a disillusioned hero, and then acting out of his true convictions and the same need to service which took him to Viet Nam, protested the war that he had seen first hand. Middle America can relate better to a reformed drunk and the Religious Right cam relate better to a born-again sinner than either can to man who saw that not only had he sinned, but he had done it following the supposed legal orders of his country. Quite simply, there are more reformed drunks and back-sliding sinners in this country than people who act out of their true convictions and are willing to stand up for what is right even when popular support is currently on the other side. People do not want to hear that their sons, brothers, and fathers died in a war that we should never have entered anymore than they want to hear that we have entered another war that we can not win.
On a side note, H. L. Mencken once wrote that someday Middle American would get it fondest wish and elect a complete idiot to the White House.

There are many reasons, but one fact stands out; like him or not, Karl Rove is a political genius who uses Evangelical Christians as a voting block the way the Democrats used to use the labor unions in the 1940's and 50's.

a good style of solutions... dude you're very youthful. do no longer say that "i'm a pupil so i don't get time for something". you have for all time. consume in spite of you opt for for to. basically pass outdoors in night and play some outdoors video games. specifically soccer, Badminton, Cricket etc etc. Play as much as you could. Play soccer on an universal basis for an hour or 2 and you will see the variations.

Just so you know I voted for President George W. Bush.
The answer to your question, I will not flame it, is a majority of my fellow American citizens cast votes for him.
Best Wishes and Good Fortune my friend
