Are you a Republican or a Democrat?

2006-07-29 07:55:31 · 11 answers · asked by tmhdmh7 1 in Politics

there is a question being asked by someone here at Yahoo: (Are you more worried about the 4 burned flags or the 50 million Americans who can't see a doctor?
Ir you're more worried about the 4 flags that were burned last year, you are a Republican. If you're more concerned about the 20% of the population without health insurance, then you're a Democrat.

Which issue do you think Jesus would be more interested in? )

(Now here is my question) Should we ask From our government for: Free health care, then why not Free Gas, Free food, Free housing, Free auto repair, and why not stop there, Free everything, Internet, (heck we already have it, it should be Free!) now Farmers won't have to work, mechanics, doctors, nurses, carpenters, Utopia! what ya think?

I really don't know. I heard on Yahoo Answers that it was becuase it would bring Jesus back. Can I please have a mature response? If this is what you believe, feel free to say. I'm just trying to make sense of it all.

that there is a debate? Aren't these politicians who look the other way in fact traitors to the country, the earth and it's people? How come regular people don't care enough to actually read about the subject? Are we really that stupid?

I had the locks changed ok'd by the managment of the apts. ( he shoved me and told me he would destroy my things) There are some things I purchased and he wants to take them. I don't have the reciepts but niether does he. He says he wants off the lease but wants new keys to the apts so he can enter when he pleases. And god knows what he will do if he does. He also has a dining room table at his mothers that i paid for that he wont give back. He says because we were together when they were purchased that everything needs to get split evenlly. But then he also says that hes taking all the items i purchased to furnish his new apt. We were never married why do I have to give him everything I bought and be left with nothing?? I just need to know if keeping the things i bought is the right thing to do and if he took me to court about it would i have a chance at winning i just want to do what is leagal.

Here is a legal scenario I wonder if is legal and enforceable as a contract in the State of Ohio, and other States.

Joe owes a legal debt of $1000 to Tim. Joe can’t afford the full amount of the debt, so he issues a check to Tim for $200. On the back of the check is fine print, which says:

Payee, Tim, agrees that by cashing, endorsing or signing considers this debt of one thousand to be paid in full.

Tim cashes the check, but ignored the fine print and later refuses to consider the amount paid in full. How would this play out in court? Your best educated guess. Is there any case law on this?

If you don’t have a J.D. after your name, or working on one, or don’t know what the letters stand for, please give your fingers a rest and sit this one out.

During the first conflict with Iraq (Senior Bush’s administration), the US had a defensive ground weapon that knocked incoming enemy warhead from the sky.
They made a very big issue about it, but some times the defensive rocket was released too late and the enemy’s rocket hit the ground (I think it was in Israel).

Hezbollah rockets are hitting their marks, where are the rocket interceptor?
How come we don’t hear anything about it now?
Or did it never really worked?

Does anyone recall? Thanks

ID cards, with biometric information, are said to be able to cut down on fraud, and decrease the time from crime to capture, thanks to genetic information that would be stored on one.
However, is it not true that passports were meant to cut down on illlegal immigration, wasn't chip and pin technology meant to decrease fraud. Can't all systems be corrupted? Discuss

if the events of 9/11 (which have had huge implications for the USA and for world peace) were eventually shown to have been committed by people who infiltrated fire services, police etc. for their own evil purposes, would this surprise you ?

Bush and Blair to Israel: Don't worry, we'll look the other way while you totally destroy Lebanon. And remember to bomb and kill many innocent women and children, destroy the infrastructure too, and bomb ambulances, bomb oil reservoirs, (no matter if you completely destroy the marine life, we are far from the Mediterranean) and while you're at it, kill some of Kofi's observers. (That will teach him not to mess with us, hey Ehud? Nudge, nudge, wink, wink. One finger salute to the world from Bush.)

Bush and Blair to Lebanon and the rest of the world: (Both close to tears) We are sooooooo very sorry that these terrible things have happened, but don't worry, we are going to pay for everything. (Nudge, nudge, wink, wink. We'll get everybody else to pay too. One finger salute to the world from Blair.)

Do they think we are complete morons to believe this cr*p?

Section 8k of the Flag Code states, "The flag, when it is in such condition that it is no longer a fitting emblem for display, should be destroyed in a dignified way, preferably by burning." We recommend that you contact your local VFW Chapter and ask them for help properly disposing of your flag. And be sure to consider providing a small donation to them for their assistance. Or you can contact your local Elks Lodge (who created the idea of Flag Day, established officially by President Truman, himself a member of the Elks), the American Legion, or the Knights of Columbus. Some Boy Scout and Girl Scout troups also can provide this service.
