there is a question being asked by someone here at Yahoo: (Are you more worried about the 4 burned flags or the 50 million Americans who can't see a doctor?
Ir you're more worried about the 4 flags that were burned last year, you are a Republican. If you're more concerned about the 20% of the population without health insurance, then you're a Democrat.

Which issue do you think Jesus would be more interested in? )

(Now here is my question) Should we ask From our government for: Free health care, then why not Free Gas, Free food, Free housing, Free auto repair, and why not stop there, Free everything, Internet, (heck we already have it, it should be Free!) now Farmers won't have to work, mechanics, doctors, nurses, carpenters, Utopia! what ya think?

Update: Now that I have seen some answers I will tell you my a story, My son who is now 8 was found to have cancer (osteo Sarcoma) a bone cancer when he was 4 we had no health care, but he got top of the line care in the best hospital in calif. I have continued to maintain his care and still dont have health care. but we find ways. If you need health care because you cant aford it, but need it and take care of yourself you will get what you need. Its the people that dont take care of themselves by themselves, before and after thier care, that make it hard on everyone. Drugs and Alcohol, smoking ect. The reason we have laws and rules and are because some people take advantage of the kindness of others. My Ex-wife a drug addict has cried for help gets it and then keeps on doing drugs we have all spent money on her and state money on her, and friends money, and she wont help herself. what it boils down to - taking care of yourself and not expecting everyone else to do it for you

ya know what I am trying to say here is that we DONT need anymore government Health care than we already have. I can pay for minor problems. and I do take good care of myself and my family. So Take care of yourself and dont just wait for someone else to take care of you. If you need help like I did it is there. Done

I think that you clearly are about 14 and don't pay for you're own insurance... or haven't been in the hospital and had to pay the bill...

the system isn't working... costs are going up MUCH faster than the rate of inflation and people aren't getting paid anymore...

but, I guess you conservatives with your morals are perfectly happy letting people die, because they don't have money... because money is clearly more important that lives to you guys...

health care is OFTEN a life and death issue, unlike those you mentioned... I know people that have died that were turned down for procedures because they didn't have the money...

life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness... you guys are working on liberty (tapping phones and bank accounts) and the life part... won't be much happiness left after you get done with those two...

People need to stop being so lazy and work to meet their goals. People expect too much from the government, and socialism just doesn't work.

Sometimes people don't have health insurance because they don't see the point. Others, because they would rather have the big screen TV. Its all about priorities.

If you think the government ever provided anything free, look at the deductions on you paycheck. Then think: sales tax, property tax, $0.18 Federal gas tax, etc.

There's no such thing as a free lunch.

I believe the only things that should be free are the things absolutely indespensible to life. Such as basic nutrition, healthcare, and oxygen.
