How come every mexican has 12 names?

And why do the last names, "Chavez, Gonzales, Rodriguez, Ortiz, and Garcia, Villareal, Casteneda, Castillio, and Castro," always end up being called 100 times at a highschool graduation?

Oh.. and would anyone like a cracker? hehe

Kay.. it's "offend", not "affend."

Sharon, then tell me why those names appeared/ and were sound 672 out of 1,012 times during my cousins' graduation ceremony?

Live in Texas, and tell me it isn't true.

In their culture you take both parents names, then a spousal name if your a woman. I think it works something like Maria Elena Sanchez de Alvarez, or something to that effect. Most of them just use the one last name, in my experience.

In their culture you take your mother and fathers last names. And just like our Jones, Smith, Davis....etc, those are the most common hispanic names.

Their names are not like ours. They do not automatically take their father's last name, instead they change them and chose as they wish. Plus, when they come here illegally, they have many aliases so they do not get caught when they commit crimes.
