I recently started dating this guy. He told me that he was a police officier but was terminated after 6 months of work. Should I be concerned. Seems like he couldn't get re-hired full time for any other department. He was working for a relatively small police station. I just don't know if its unusual to be fired from the police department?

" Of course I told her no, thats okay, cause I don't want anyone stealing my idea. Please tell me how to get a patent on my idea..

Not unless the US stops it's blind support for the State of Israel. The other Arab states are going to be involved by next week. Then even the best minds will not be able to prevent the carnage. anybody want to differ? Are you prepared to be sent to the frontline to die for Israel? I am not.

Did you know illegal immigrants can get free medical help if they are sick and the hospitals can not turn them down. And guess who is paying for the bill? We are paying for it through tax dollars.

there's a debate between a member(s) of parliament, and instead of focusing on the argument, they indulge in childish and verbal abuse ie. sarcasm, ridicule, name calling, threats... and the issue is not appopriately attended to in a single seating because of the "circus".

What can we do to stop the propsed bill introduced by Sen. Ted Stevens. Phone and cable companies that want to charge websites for faster content delivery. This could be the tip of the iceburg paving the way for higher fees, censorship and an establishment of Big Brother controlling the net. Right now I think all we can do is contact our own Senators and other Senators on the Commerce Committee.

Don't think this is a joke check this site:

One view of world peace that I have heard articulated is that it is not possible as long as there are people who do not desire it and wish to kill you. The logic follows that the only way to acheive world peace is to kill these people before they kill you, thus ridding the world of any violent elements. What do you think of this point of view?

Please give me an answer on the following hypothetical situation:
A 16 year old girl lives in a bad household, the parents use any money they get to buy drugs. The girl has two younger siblings. a 4 year old and a 10 year old. They are here in the US, and do not recieve welfare because the parents have not signed up for it. They dont have any other family and no friends due to their parent's reckless behavior. The 16 year old goes to the grocery store and steals food to feed herself and siblings. Should she go to juvy? It is a crime to steal, but it is her first and only crime. Should she be called a criminal for life? There is no sympathy for crimnals right? What if she was older?
