Two soldiers were kidnapped and Israel marches into Libanon. Israelis kill a 10 member family besides others and continue bombing Beirut and Gaza.

In the meantime everyone is busy that Northkorea and Iran might do another missile test. We don't want war, but yesterday might have been the day that another one was started.

And it wasn't commited by some "bandit country" but it was us who did it. Why does nobody of the "western world" stands up and tells Israel that there is something going the really bad way.

Being caught lying seems to be an occupational hazard for politicians. Even if caught doing it, the consequences dont seem to be very bad for them.

here's the deal. america is moving down while china is moving up. we're already over due for a world war to sort out the major powers. for america, the longer they wait, the worse it's gonna be taking out china.

threatening north korea, invading lebanon. bush is really pushing it now.

the chinese are playing cool. all they have to do is let america screw around in iraq a few more years and they'll be all out of gas for a war with china. US needs to force this war now while america still has an advantage over china, and get as many allies on his side as possible. particularly japan, who he's been trying to scare into re-arming by ignoring the korea situation to the point they have a nuke.

NORMANDY , FRANCE (June 6, 1944) Three hundred French civilians were killed and thousands more were wounded today in the first hours of America 's invasion of continental Europe . Casualties were heaviest among women and children. Most of the French casualties were the result of artillery fire from American ships attempting to knock out German fortifications prior to the landing of hundreds of thousands of U.S. troops. Reports from a makeshift hospital in the French town of St. Mere Eglise said the carnage was far worse than the French had anti cipated, and that reaction against the American invasion was running high. "We are dying for no reason, "said a Frenchman speaking on condition of anonymity. "Americans can't even shoot straight. I never thought I'd say this, but life was better under Adolph Hitler."

The invasion also caused severe environmental damage. American troops, tanks, trucks and machinery destroyed miles of pristine shoreline and thousands of acres of ecologically sensitive wetlands. It was believed that the habitat of the spineless French crab was completely wiped out, thus threatening the species with extinction. A representative of Greenpeace said his organization, which had tried to stall the invasion for over a year, was appalled at the destruction, but not sur prised. "This is just another example of how the military destroys the environment without a second thought," said Christine Moanmore. "And it's all about corporate greed."

Contacted at his Manhattan condo, a member of the French government-in-exile who abandoned Paris when Hitler invaded, said the invasion was based solely on American ! financial interests. "Everyone knows that President Roosevelt has ties to 'big beer'," said Pierre LeWimp. "Once the German beer industry is conquered, Roosevelt 's beer cronies will control the world market and make a fortune."

Administration supporters said America 's aggressive actions were based in part on the assertions of controversial scientist Albert Einstein, who sent a letter to Roosevelt speculating that the Germans were developing a secret weapon -- a so-called "atomic bomb". Such a weapon could produce casualties on a scale never seen before, and cause environmental damage that could last for thousands of years. Hitler has denied having such a weapon and international inspectors were unable to locate such weapons even after spending two long weekends in Germany . Shortly after the invasion began, reports surfaced that German prisoners had been abused by American soldiers. Mistreatment of Jews by Germans at their so-called "concentration camps" has been rumored, but so far this remains unproven.

Several thousand Americans died during the first hours of the invasion, and French officials are concerned that the uncollected corpses will pose a public-health risk. "The Americans should have planned for this in advance," they said. "It's their mess, and we don't intend to help clean it up."

"Why, it appears that we appointed all of our worst generals to command the armies and we appointed all of our best generals to edit the newspapers. I mean, I found by reading a newspaper that these editor generals saw all of the defects plainly from the start but didn't tell me until it was too late. I'm willing to yield my place to these best generals and I'll do my best for the cause by editing a newspaper."

Many evolved souls have come to show us a better way to live yet our world is still lacking the where with all to provide a system where all of us can survive. We have come a long way in the past 100 years, but even the best system on earth is one where somebody loses whenever somebody wins.If somehow, someway, we are all one, then truly by helping others we are in fact helping ourselves. Yet all truth is perception since times begining, and somehow our perceptions have been manipilated to keep us away from what the vast majority of us truly want and desire-a world of inner peace and joy.Mankinds ego and competitive spirit could surely be satisfied in ways that do not hurt others-physically or emotionally. We can and must stop the fear that is within many peoples-the root cause of anger is in fact fear and we have all seen what happens when peoples anger bubbles over. The human race is a creative one-we can and must create a world that truly represents what the vast majority of us desire

If there should be reparations for blacks, shouldn't it be taken to the source. I mean the persons who initially threw them into slavery pay them. The African Tribe Chiefs who sold their own people should be the ones accountable, if they hadn't sold em, then they would not have been slaves right? Shouldn't they pay reparations to blacks in America, not Americans?

The reasons we were given for rushing into Iraq were terrorist connections, treatment of the citizens and the threat of Weapons of Mass Destruction... and a lot of this was just unproven intelligence. With North Korea.. we KNOW of terrorist ties.. and we have undeniable proof that Kim Il has, and is testing Nukes... yet we're trying to be diplomatic? If we were ever justified in going into Iraq... then how can a MUCH BIGGER threat be treated so lightly?
