What exactly is the difference, even if in the USA? I imagine you can work on a residence visa cause what else would you do? And you have to live there if you are working? Buisiness visa is temporary but workers work there.

With a residence Visa you can do just about anything and get limited benefits from the public.

Work Visa is just for work. You can't go to school or anything like that. But since they don't monitor you. Most people further their education while on a work Visa

In the US? Absolutely. In China, you'll have to ask them.
