Yes and no.

I believe spies of foreign countries are active in the USA. But, unless you live in Washington, certain areas of New York, or other similar areas, I doubt any of your neighbors are spies.

Here are some things to chew on...

- During the cold war, most of the most successful Soviet spies were American citizens who approached the Russians, usually because they had access to senstive information and wanted to cash in on the opportunity.

- Many spies have been from 'friendly' nations. Both England and Israel have been caught spying on the USA.

True account.

A detective was on line with a 13 yr. old girl.
After a time, that detective went to the girl's hometown in GA.. He went to her school, track. When she came off the track, he approached her and identified himself. She had never told him where she lived.

She had told him her school colors.
She had told him about the beaches.
She had told him about track.
She had told him her height and hair color
She had told him of the school mascot

He found her. Legitimate contact, of course.

Long talk took place.

No it is not true, you are paranoid, everything is alright, there is nothing to worry about, there is no global conspiracy, Iraq is not a prelude to war in Iran, the US are not seeking to control opium production in Afghanistan, Elvis lives, everything is okay, just keep taking the pills and freaking out on chilli dogs.
