The advantage of ending censorship or prohibition is that the "naughty" or "super cool" factor fades fast. Legalise heroin and let users sign a legal declaration that they are are addicts and watch the heroin rate initially rise and then eventually plummet.drop. Study the US alcohol Prohibition of the 1930s which resulted in organised crime, violence and killings. Shouldn't prohibition be limited to specific categories of citizens such as minors and felons?

As prior military, I'm sick of hearing people say,"Soldiers know exactly what they are getting into when they signed on the dotted line." How the H.E.L.L. would you know? Have you served in the military? I served honorably for 4 years in United Stated Marine Corps and I had no idea what I was getting into when I signed on the dotted line. Military life was a huge shock for me, but I don't regret having served. I dare you to talk to a recruiter, listen to what he/she has to say, enlist, then compare it to what military life is really like. You'll have a rude awakening. Then when some idiot says that you knew exactly what you were getting into, you'll be in my place. Those soldiers are defending your right to tell these lies so the least you can do is shut your mouth, not give your opinion on something you know nothing about, and show respect where it's due.

WASHINGTON - Authorities have disrupted planning by foreign terrorists for an attack on New York City tunnels, two law enforcement officials said Friday.

FBI agents monitoring Internet chat rooms used by extremists learned in recent months of the plot to strike a blow at the city's economy by destroying vital transportation networks, one official said.

Yes, for New Jersey residents who are among the highest taxed anywhere Jon "The Taxman" Corzine promised during his election campaign to bring tax relief, but having been elected has helped effect the largest tax increase in New Jersey history. Should he apologize and resign? Has he misled the NJ electorate in order to obtain his office as governor?

Why end poverty?

What's wrong with poverty? Why does it need to end? Without poverty would we know what a decent, successful living looks like? I see no moral dilemna here. I love poverty! It's a brutal frame of reference that helps me to realize what a great situation I really am in.
Giving money means satisfying empty bellies, and when these bellies are full, what's the next thing a human needs? Sex! That's right, sex. And then there's a good chance after that is performed another empty bellied creature is born. Thus, the perpetual cycle never ends as we give more money.

Leave poverty alone! Let it be free! Let it exist! Stop trying to end poverty. It's not a disease. It's the solution!

Really. I honestly want to know. I don't know of anyone, but there must be someone. And if so, are you intelligent and perceptive? Can you prove it?

And for those of you who want to answer this who DON'T believe that politicians are honest, then why are you trusting them to make major decisions which impact your life?
