I believe that organized religion came about as man's way to explain the unexplainable. Ultimately, I believe that all reference the same being or force. There are far too many similarities between most of the major religions of the world to think they don't all share the same root.
Specifically the root of Christianity is Judaism, so those are a given. I'll stop here as I don't want to get into a dissertation about the worlds religions... but it's a great topic.

The God of Judaism and Christianity are definately the same God. As for rather Allah is the same God or not. That is a good question. I would say "yes" they do all three have the same God, but many would disagree with me. It's only my opinion.

Yes, they're all the same God. One God who created the universe and all that's in it. When we say "GOD", we are referring ultimately to the Creator. The being who is source of all that was, is, and will be. But it could be confusing to Muslims and Jews to understand how Christians refer to their Trinity. The old testament and the Koran, too teach that their is only one God. So what's this about the Trinity? It is Three Persons in One God. One here does not represent a solitary being.
Even in the old testament, there were already references to the plurality in Persons of this One God. One here means unity. In Gen. 1:26 "Let us make man in OUR image, according to OUR likeness." So who did God refer to in this passage? Yes, himself!
Here's another one in the Tower of Babel story Gen. 11:7: "Let us go down". Did anyone go down with Him? No. Again, He was referring to himself. In the passage Deuteronomy 6:4 "Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD.", the "one" is "echod" which means united one not "yachid" which means only one.
However, It is only in the New Testament where God revealed His other Persons: the Son and the Holy Spirit.

The Moslem's "god" Killed people, so did Buddha, Jesus did NOT he healed, saved and even brought 1 person back from death, Jew's do not think the "savior" has not come yet. " I am the way the truth and the life NO ONE come to the Father Except thru me" - Jesus. Believe that Jesus died for your sin, confess with you mouth your sins to him and believe that Jesus is God, it is written that you will then have eternal life. Can't believe that? I can prove that Jesus is God e-mail me and will.

I believe the Christians and the Jews share the same God, but that Allah is so fundamentally different that no rational person could ever equate them.

I dont tihnk there is a god. I know your probly already pissed at me for saying this. But look at it this way. Theres a budda , god , others that i dont know about. and you look at these relligons and thou they are diffrent they all have one thing in common. Each has strong belivers. You know that are fully in it and that will say any thing to help it. But do we really have prof for any of them. And you really cant say yes this person felt gods hand or a angels love or what ever because they all do. Like some buda fallwoer will say "buda has spoken with me", ect.,ect.Then you got these nerds who say well evoultion is it. You know? But then if thats slo who started the evltion. Like if man evoled from ape then how did the ape come about? Any ways to me its all like a curse that frustaes the hell out of ya from the moment your born . you when momma says say your prays and be saven and youll be happy. Its a load of crap. A person chossies to be happy. not some god like thing chosie for you.So if you think all that **** they feed you at church and around the dinner table is true and makes you feel good then go with it man.Your probly thinking im some ****** up angry guy. You know what i am. Cuz i found out the hard way.Maby its true about the god thang. WOW you lucked out, when I asked a question and used the spelling of god instead of God i got all kinda hate answers because I didn't respect god enough to capitalize his name. so typical of people more concerned with appearance than substance. To put my 2 cents in, if there is a god, he's the same god to all. god is god people, don't be a divider be a uniter.

In concept or reality...God is the supreme being who created us and guides us. Religion on the other hand is created by man as a path to lead us to God. When did man create anything perfect? Why can't multiple paths lead to same destination? Most human beings have several names (different relationships call them differently), why can't such a superior entity be worshipped in different ways under different names?

As far as I know, there is absolutely not one shred of solid evidence that god exists. That being said, If in fact there is one all powerful being that created well, creation, there should be no question that he or she or whatever would be the same god for all of these ridiculous man-made religions that only separate us as human beings instead of bringing us together like all of their teachings and scriptures say they should.
