Read this article, so stupid.

Basically, the article says, that if this new law becomes enforced, you could spend a year in jail/prison just for wearing a military uniform with medals on it. I want to hear some people's answers on what does it hurt? People should be able to wear what they want. Now if these people are using military recipients social security number along with the military uniforms and medals, then I see the problem.

Supposely, these people are dressing up like retired military recipients and going to funerals, banquets, and benefits.

I see no harm in attending a funeral. The banquets and the benefits probably offer food for the military recipients so all they would be getting is free food. So if they want to eliminate this problem, check social security numbers at the door. Don't throw someone in prison for wearing a uniform with medals on it.

My husband is from Mexico and he says that the Mexican media (I don't know how trusty this media is) says that Bush borrowed a bunch of Mexican soldiers and supplies. Is this true? I've never heard about this on America's side of the story, have you? If I were the President, I wouldn't brag about that either. They say that lots and lots of the Mexican soldiers died, if so, about how many?

i'm a former US Marine and i was ashammed and sick when i saw those pictures of what our troops did in those prisons. and you people got the nerve to get mad when people don't support the war or the troops how can i support people who do the same or worse than our so called enemy who were supposed to have WMD's and didn't, now i'm really pissed off. people got the right to support or not support what they want and they also have a right to voice their opinion and all those who say that is unpatriotic then i'm unpatriotic cause if i think something is wrong i'm gonna voice my opinion

i think it is really stupid and Bush is doing the wrong thing. Every day, the iraqui people are scared to come out of their homes, when Sudaam Hussain was the one who did everything. Everyday bombs are dropped and very innocent people are killed. Its not fair, and soon enough the same thing will be happenin to the US. This question is really serious, i would really like to know other peoples opinions.

Something teriible is going on. In my city two Blackmen have been killed by polie officers using tasers(50, 000 volts per charge). After investigation, the fist murder was considered not unjust. The second brother was just murdered in the pat week. The sad part is that we as black people will march, shout, write angry letters and other tactics, but we will continue to be killed. My question is what can we do, short of seeking vigilante justice, to put a stop or send a message to corrupt offiers that we are not taking this anymore? Again I am not advocating vigilante justice, but something has to be done more than talking.

We're all hearing about people coming over illegally, but it seems to me that people who do things legally have a hard time, waiting for a long time, endless paperwork, etc. Is this true? What does it take to immigrate from Mexico to the US? How much paperwork? How much money? What documents? What personal info? How long approximately does it take? Can the process be sped up for certain individuals, or is everyone in the same boat (no pun intended)? Is it easier to come over as a single person? As a family?

I would just really like to know, since so many people are talking about immigration, a little of what it is like to immigrate.

Stories of personal experience are welcome, especially if it is particularly demonstrative of the system as a whole, as well as factual info with sources, if possible.

I said when they killed Al Zarqawi they would just put some one else in his place. I never thought this guy would be crazier than his successor. Like the Hydra when you cut the head off three others appear. We are going to keep making matters worse in Iraq the longer we are there. Soon we will be fighting the whole Middle East. The real kick in the head is that our soldiers are paying the ultimate price and I feel awful that we left our soldiers to die fighting another crusade.

There are a lot of complaints about immigrants taking the Americans' jobs. Why isn't there much controversy about the many 1-800 numbers that connect us with people in India and other countries? Many of which are hard to understand. Who know where peoplepc's customer service operaters are located because when I went through them and had problems I had to call 4 or 5 times and every time, someone with a different accent answered the phone. One lady did not seem to understand our common telephone ettiquet.
Anyway, these people are being employed by American companies which means that they have OUR jobs. The companies are looking for cheap labor. Should that be a big issue also?

I plan to try out politics as my career goal. I have started taking classes and plan on taking political science classes. After my 4 years of school I thought about joining the FBI the most elite lay enforcement in the world and after 4 or 5 years keeping the peace I though I would leave then start my political carrier. What do you think?
Do not tell me go in to the military instead because I was DQed from it, sense I have to take a shot every month. Theses another question, would needing this shot keep me from getting in to the FBI?

I figure on joining the FBI before I start my career sense I though maybe people would look at me as more that just another politician but rather a former federal agent looking to make a large change in our nation that will hopefully make it better.
