My husband is from Mexico and he says that the Mexican media (I don't know how trusty this media is) says that Bush borrowed a bunch of Mexican soldiers and supplies. Is this true? I've never heard about this on America's side of the story, have you? If I were the President, I wouldn't brag about that either. They say that lots and lots of the Mexican soldiers died, if so, about how many?
I'd be glad to hear from you. Thanks!

um you can't really borrow soldiers since it's pretty difficult to pay that debt back if the soldier dies. and we really don't need mexican supplies. our military spends so many more times their military it's ridiculous.

if he was joking, it's pretty funny...if he wasn't joking then dump him and get with someone with an IQ higher than that of a grape.

I think it's true.Don;t you see in CNN and other media that all the US Armed Forces speaking Spanish, and do u also notice that the US Army is using the 1970's tanks and the US Air Force using the 1965's Airplane. And the most obvious thing is US Soldiers are the Mexican disguising with the American face mask.

Actually Mexico has traditionally had a long history of cooperating with the US military. Everytime we get into a war, they offer supplies and soldiers to serve under our command. Behind the scenes, this is part of the reason the illegal immigration issue has been conveniently ignored for so long... and why Reagan gave them amnesty in the 80s. It's only a big issue now because ignorant people are motivated by their fear of the unknown.

I am in the army and Mexico is not part of the Coalition serving in the mid east (El Salvidor is) thou they would be welcomed.

I was stationed in Texas when the war started and I would have expected to see some of these Mexican tanks but I saw none (I also was not aware of a shortage of tanks)

Mexico did send trucks and troops to Texas to set up a camp last year for Katerina Relief.

I don't know the answer to your question, but I am always amazed at the responses sent by some, just to earn points or to be cruel and vicious without really making a point.

Those people "against" Mexico, how many of them have been there or know the natives of the country or even did their research before giving such biased answers.

I am sorry I could not offer you answers , but I just had to comment. You may want to search this on the net. Good luck

Oh man, that's priceless. Not even a shred of truth. The only thing he might have confused it with was when Mexican troops came to help after Katrina.

No. Mexico is a very corrupt country. The only way to get real information there is to provide a large bribe to the public official who has access to it and even then the level of accuracy is highly questionable.

I believe they are a part of the coalition????

I don't think we need to borrow troops or equipment, I know about 10 people in the military and none are in Iraq, one was there for month and that's it.

sounds like BS to me, the only reason i can see them needing mexican troops is to sell oranges to the army (as there are no lawns to mow in iraq)
