We have spent billions upon billions on a senseless war and give monies as 'aid' to other countries. The elderly can barely eat and cannot afford their medication, Katrina destroyed an entire city, people in the U.S. are hungry, our youth cannot afford college, and the poverty in America is obscene. Why are we spending so much on others rather than helping our own?

This guys campaigning more for "democratics" than the democrats are.

Must make you awfully proud to have such a supporter. Maybe you guys can get together at the next soldiers funeral and share some common likes and dislikes as you celebrate.

Stephen Walt Wrote:"Anyone who criticises Israel's actions or argues that pro-Israel groups have significant influence over US Middle East policy," the authors have written, "...stands a good chance of being labelled an anti-Semite. Indeed, anyone who merely claims that there is an Israeli lobby runs the risk of being charged with anti-Semitism ...."
This is strong stuff in a country where - to quote the late Edward Said - the "last taboo" (now that anyone can talk about blacks, gays and lesbians) is any serious discussion of America's relationship with Israel.

The American Republic is a tried and proven form of government with a track record of successes. We are the envy of every other nation on the planet. The reverse is true for a democracy which is fraught with hardship and failure over hundreds of years trying. This Republic suceeded where other governments have failed throughout history. We succeed because we have a series of checks and balances in the way we function in all facets of our society. We are a success story because our country is divided into 50 separate states, and then many fold counties within those states, and then many cities and township within those counties,....each with their own rules of operation. All are guided by Constitutional law set up by our Founding Forefathers. No such system is evident for the new Iraqi government - proposed or already on the table. Our extensive system of tried and true checks and balances with their separate and distinct JURISDICTIONS is what makes this nation the envy of the world

Amusing when liberals fume at FOX NEWS for not being balanced. Conservatives have known for years that CBS, NBC, ABC and later CNN have been grossly biased in favor of liberals. Those media outlets corrupted the American political process. While the nation turned right the liberal networks invented issues, manufactured scandals that did nothing to advance public debate or better peoples lives. So let's see, 4 obviously liberal networks and one that liberals feel is conservative. So what's the problem? Should those on the right not have a voice in public debate? Or should the other four have a monopoly..censoring the views of more than half the American public? Again, 4 left wing networks and one to the right. Why all the fuming from liberals? Perhaps it's because your views are regularly rejected at the ballot box and the only thing which sustains failed liberal policies are the 4 biased, left-wing network stations. Think about it. Thanks...

I was involved in an accident, last night, in which the other driver intentionally slammed on his breaks to cause me to hit him. This wasn't the typical tapping of the breaks, he put them on and held them on. Even though he admitted to break checking me, I was sighted for Unassured Cleared Distance.

Insurance has been broadcasting the 'Squat and Swoop' method, and have proven that it is illegal. While there was no other party involved, the intent is still the same. I would assume that means it would be illegal for him to intentionally cause an accident in a similar manner.

I'm thinking about changing my name. I'm 16 and I was wondering, Is it normal to change my name to something like this, i, for example, I'm french, could I change my name to another of Greek origin?

Or Jewish to Arabic or, whatever the combination was. Is it okay or frowned upon? Is anyone in a similar situation? ie. has a name of different origin?
