money does make the world turn. Politicians, are supposed to represent the people. If the people don't care or are unable to keep up with what really is going on, they must depend on the politicians. They are supposed to be informed with all the facts, from the impact on the voters, (those that vote) to the influences of personal encounters, submissions of arguments and the ever present factor of financial gain. Those who are not informed, or don't care, don't vote, or vote on first instincts, judging appearances, not credentials. Its a trade off. Its the NOW American way and choice. PASSIVITY.
Big companies get bigger, get bigger tax breaks, better incentives, provide income for voters, few individuals get richer. Those that get richer, supposedly turn their gains into additional jobs, the cheapest labor is the illegal aliens. Government benefits, shareholders benefit, corporations benefit. Current economy will not survive if illegal aliens, who WORK for their living, are not allowed some kickbacks. Corporations are financially driven by supply and demand. Once the demand is created, the government must satisfy the people into thinking there is more supply. US is run on gas and oil companies have the people over a barrel...Current administration believes there is no bottom to the barrel, just like the money tree they keep harvesting and spending. Today is the concern, not tomorrow.

people don't but corporate lobbies do....we are in need of serious campaign reform and it should be a priority issue...It wont be because politicians know where their bread is buttered at and so do the corporations that get them elected.
