It takes time and effort for a people to unite behind a government even one they may have elected. Even in America after the revolution there was a good deal of turmoil before the Constitution was written and ratified. The only difference is we did not have a group of outsiders and a former ruling class trying to get power away from the elected officials.
Also in Iraq there is a tendency toward tribal influence and that is hard to overcome. It has been around for 100s of years.

thats where your slightly wrong.... the american democracy hasn't really been tried, tested and true.... America is only an infant country when compared to many... And the United States is trying to force thier beliefs and thier values on a people who never had had the same beliefs and Values, but have still been around for thousands of years. Put yourself in thier shoes... you have lived your entire life a certain way, you were raised to believe in it the way it is, and now some 'outsiders" come in and say your doing it all wrong, and you have to do it our way.
Thats not something thats going to go over smoothly no matter how you look at it...

They DO have freedom. They are currently in the process of putting together their own government - something they couldn't do if they weren't free. Don't mistake the actions of a minority of insurgents for the will of the Iraqi people. There are far, far more good things happening in Iraq than bad things, but our news media reports NONE of them, because they want you to hate Bush and only showing the bad things helps them accomplish this. Do a little of your own research and find out about the schools that have opened, the freedoms that women now have, and the freedoms that the Iraqi people are now enjoying. Don't be blinded by our liberal American media.

This country has a diverse religious background and they have fought for centuries. Just because we believe in a form of government does not mean others do. Just as we are against communism, and did not like them taking over countries and putting in their form of government, some people think we are trying to do the same thing with ours. We were not asked for help we invaded the country and took over meanwhile killing many of their people and destroying their buildings, homes and people. We hope this country will see the freedoms but too much killing and suffering is working against them.

Denominations proper this second are many and numerous. the unique “mainline” denominations have spawned distinctive offshoots which includes Assemblies of God, Christian and Missionary Alliance, Nazarenes, Evangelical loose, independent Bible church homes, and others. some denominations emphasize mild doctrinal alterations, yet better frequently they merely grant diverse varieties of worship to in wonderful condition the differing tastes and possibilities of Christians. yet make no mistake: as believers, we could be of one thoughts on the necessities of the religion, yet previous that there is nice deal of determination in how Christians could worship in a company placing. This determination is what causes such distinctive diverse “flavors” of Christianity. A Presbyterian church in Uganda would have a kind of worship a lot diverse from a Presbyterian church in Colorado, yet their doctrinal stand will be, for the most area, a similar. range is a competent element, yet disunity isn't. If 2 church homes disagree doctrinally, debate and talk over the be conscious will be said as for. this manner of “iron sprucing iron” (Proverbs 27:17) is sensible to all. in the adventure that they disagree on type and form, although, that's wonderful for them to stay separate. This separation, although, does no longer carry the duty Christians could love one yet another (a million John 4:11-12) and finally be united as one in Christ (John 17:21-22).

Puhleeeeeeeeeese........Did you see the Iraqi people during their first democratic election? The people proudly displaying thier forefingers marked with ink? They have had the taste of democracy. They can move on without us guiding them. In fact, the U.S should let them decide for themselves how to move on. Iraq has been in existence for centuries. I am sure they can figure out a way to keep democracy alive. BUT thier way, not the west ways.

Why? because they've learned from so many others in the world,
it's so much easier to hang back, only make a minimum or even no
effort and just let the dopey Americans take the risk, and the expense, and then let everybody beat us over the head for it. That's
why.

Well you went into quite a long explanation. Yes we re a tried and true, proven republic. If you recall, even we had outside assistance when we fought the reveloution. As long as the god given desire to be free is being fought by the people, they will achieve it. We are just helping them along.

Because of their culture and religion, which does not respect or value life as much as they respect and value death; because in their views the ends justify the means; and because they don't want freedom for OTHER people (ie, women, different muslim sects, non-muslims, jews), only for themselves.
