My boyfriend signed a DNR during when he was around 18 or so during a time when he was having open heart surgery. Don't ask me why, he does strange things and is very hard headed about them. He also said he refuses to have any blood transfusions, even if it means he would die. I don't know if this is in writing or not.

I don't agree with any of this, and I think if it came down to it, he would actually like to be resucsitated, but he won't even talk about changing it. He told me it may no longer be in effect any more so its not an issue.

Well, it could possibly be a huge issue if its still in effect. After we are married does the spouse have a legal right to "veto" his DNR and to okay blood transfusions for him if he is unconscious? After all, he's only 28! Why does he have a DRN to begin with??

Illegal mexican men are all ugly, dirty, drug using, violent criminal scum with borderline retarded IQ's. They can't read. Most can't speak english and many belong to dangerous gangs. They are high risk for rape and high risk for AIDS (not to mention many other diseases).

Americans seem to mostly be persuaded by the US government that they are not only freer than other nations, but also are defending freedom around the world. But does having a gun make you free? (The government can easily attack you and win any time it wants, if you have a gun or not...remember Waco?) Does having to pay income tax to the US government when you are living abroad make you free? Does having to register your name when you are 18 so you can be called up in the case of a draft make you free? Does living in a society with economic freedom, which is ruled by corporations, make you free? Some people might say that people in Western Europe or other parts of the world are actually freer than those living in the US. Some might say that being at the mercy of unbridled capitalism makes you a slave. Ok, so the US is the richest country in the world, but most of its workers get around half of the annual paid vacation that people in Western Europe get. Is that freedom?

My girlfriend made a mistake and now she has a record. She got her life together and got a BS degree, now she is having a hard time finding a job. I want to help but don't know what to tell her...why is or judicial system so unforgiving?
