Well, in regards to what other commenters have said - I doubt it could be considered 'discrimination'. They're looking for a specific demographic and you don't fall into it. I tried to take the survey as well, and I'm 24. They didn't want me because I'm in marketing.

So, don't take it personally. They're just not interested in our demographic types.

I'm a pretty WITH-IT 65 year old but there are some surveys where I wouldn't have a valid opinion. It's not necessarily discrimination when the surveyor asks for certain age groups to participate. But, ultimately, if they don't want my opinion, I don't want to give it to them anyway.

I thought age discrimination is illegal in every situation. You should look this up. Do they let 58 yr. olds take it? Shame on you Yahoo!

umm....they have every right in the world to do this, and i dont think you will get many people to boycott yahoo for this... some older people are current, but the steryotype is that they are not, and they want the polls to be reletivly accurate.

They discriminate, they don't want everyones opinion it would not turn out the way they want it to. That's one reason why you cannot believe the polls that are given, they don't credit everyones answer.
