Liberals argue with their feelings and tend to ignore facts.

Example: You don't want poor people to go hungry do you?

They completely ignore the fact that most poor people are poor because of their own bad decisions (drugs, no education/vocational training, having kids out of wedlock, etc) and that supporting these people will only encourage them to continue to make bad decisions.

It could be argued that the belief that liberals are idiots is a part of the conservative dogma.
Hence, by cleaving to the conservative dogma you are the same as those you accuse.

Do you know the definition of dogma?
A better way to phrase your question:Why do liberals have such idiotic dogma?

Why are conservatives (e.g. Ann Coulter, Pat Robertson, Jerry Falwell, Sean Hannity, etc.) such dogmatic idiots?

Come on! Admit it! You know it's true!

Because socialists don't care much for personal responsibility, which includes thinking for themselves. Much better that somebody else cleans their didies, kisses their boo-boos and tells them what to think.

What's funny is to see them set up strawman arguments and do a bad job of even knocking those down.

Their ability to actually recite proven facts to support their opinions is non-existant.

They are so emotionally attached to their beliefs, that it takes on an almost cultish quality, so much so that they dismiss the plain facts staring them in the face in favor of delusional fantasy that follows the tenets of the cult. That's why they don't make any sense, and why it's impossible to argue logically or reasonably with them. You're attacking their ultra-fundamentalist faith!

I find liberals to be no more dogmatic than conservatives. The way you worded this question suggests that you think in absolutes.

Those who are not in power are typically arrogant. Everyone hates the boss. Easy to throw stones at a glass house. When you don't have the responsibiltiy, it's easy to criticize. Check it out in your own life. Do you complain about the parents, the boss, the professors? Who complains about you? Do your students customers or employees or kids you babysit think you are being unreasonable? It's a matter of roles.

I guess you have mastered the art of arguing with a liberal:

HOW TO YELL AT A LIBERAL ....
or.... "Arguing without Listening"

Liberal Lie: "We rushed to war on false pretenses."
Educated Response: "You Hate America!"

Liberal Lie: "The Constitution isn't a political tool."
Educated Response: "Read the Bible!"

Liberal Lie: "The Clear Skies Initiative raises pollution."
Educated Response: "America Hater!"

Liberal Lie: "There is no link between Iraq and al-Qaeda."
Educated Response: "Traitor!"

Liberal Lie: "The tax cuts clearly benefit the wealthy."
Educated Response: "Stop hating America!"

Liberal Lie: "They turned a surplus into a deficit."
Educated Response: "It's Clinton's fault!"

Liberal Lie: "The 2000 Election was a sham."
Educated Response: "You hate, Hate, HATE America!"

Liberal Lie: "I don't hate America."
Educated Response: "Flip-Flopper!"

Remember, it's not about being right.... it's about winning!

People (liberals and conservatives) have their own opinions and insist they are right. They like to hear things that justify what they believe.

Because they have too much time on their hands... unlike conservatives they are not bombing the planet, orchestrating coups, setting up puppet governments and making the world hate America
