for all those who feel because humans are the superior species on the planet we are in charge WRONG nature as is the case for several million years has a habit of shaking things up every so often.Ice-ages,droughts,flooding,and other cataclysmic happenings.the plague, aids, and other diseases that jump from animal to humans just to eliminate a strain of genetics for whatever reason will always leave some who have a built in immunity to it .they have found that those who were immune to the plague are also immune to aids.if and when this new virus jumps to humans it will be natural selection choosing what lines will move forward.nature did this for 160 million years with the Dino's before it got bored and let mammals start their rein.y2k was a marketing ploy

It will pass, I remember all the media hype about SARS and people saying we're all going to die. I don't think it will mutate into a easily transferrable human form anytime soon, people who have got it only got it because they were sucking chicken beaks or something like that. However worldwide pandemics have killed a lot of people in the past, it just needs to get a foothold.

Kind of the same panic as SARS, but with the same results. Yes, people have died from it, but the whole human race is not going to catch if from eachother and die in a matter of days
