I saw a dog the other day, that had a face of a pug (the smashed face) but it looked like a bulldog although it was the size of a cat. Can anyone tell me what kind of breed that might be? or even a cross breed. Like the schnoodle. or puggle.

I have had my ferret for a little over a year now. At first she only took things like pens and keys, but now she is trying to take everything that isnt nailes down. She has tried to take the dvd player, computer, even clothes. When I get the stuff back from her hiding spots she gets upset and does the ferrett war dance. I have checked on the internet and cant seem to find anything that explains why they have this behavior.

I need help from anyone whos in FFA or a vet or something. I have a suffolk ewe that is about 4 1/2 years old. A couple days ago she started lying in the barn and not getting up? At first she was moaning but that stopped......now she just lies there and wont even get up to eat. I mean she'll eat if you put it in front of her but she wont move. Today i even had to use a seringe to put water in her mouth so she wouldn't get dehidrated. I have given her 6cc of penacilan and some asprin but she still seems lazy. Her back foot is really swollen but doesn't seem to be broken or cut....Does anyone know what could be wrong w/ her.....Im having a vet come see her in a couple days but I want to know if theres anything I can do now....

I was at some stables the other day, and just like the time before, every time I went over to a horse, it would constantly try to nibble at me. I usually let the horse smell around to "familiarize," but it would eventually just reach over with its lips and teeth and go for my hand or jacket. It would move around if I tried to pet it and again try the nibbling. All the horses did this.
I seem to remember a time when horses I went up to didn't do that. What's going on?

Is there another (american) name for it? Every time I search, I only find stuff in Portugese! Even Winipedia. My grasp of reading it is poor, all I understood was that its a large rodent that lives thru-out Brazil.
I would like facts, but in English. thanks. A link is fine.

How can I stop my hamster from escaping? It's so annoying to look for him all the time. He uses his mouth to open all the parts of the cage with latches (the tunnel wheel and little space dome). He also puts bedding in his tunnel wheel and dome, and its horrible to clean. What can I do?

For years now this issue has been an on-going animal rights debate... Is Iams cruelly testing their products on animals... or is PETA lying to get publicity?

I've heard both sides of this story hundreds of times, and both the Iams and PETA supporters claim to have "quality" evidence that supports their argument. I've seen this "evidence" and I find BOTH Iam's and PETA's so called "evidence" to be extremely suspicious. Personally, I can't just look at some random picture of a dead dog on the internet and think "Oh, well, guess that solves it." Anyone can post pictures online to twist a story. I need FACTS.

So, if you have evidence that you feel is certainly true, could you please answer me? Thank you.

It looked like a yellowish clear ballon blown up with lots of fluid in it coming out of its butt. It was eating grass and acting normal. Was it in labor? Anyone else ever see this strange sight?

From what I've read from expert crab owners on previous crab questions, I have not a clue about hermit crabs!! We got it a couple days ago as a birthday present. There was a thin layer of small bark pieces, so I put some sand in from my sons sand box, and following the present bearers instructions, got milk bottle lids and filled them with water and hermit crab food. It's a very small tank, and has a larger shell for him.
He used to dig himself in the sand, and we'd pull him out and play with him. He lost one leg. He seemed to be very active until yesterday he just stopped moving really and dug himself in the corner of the tank and just starred out. Today I found him on top of his little water lid, almost hanging out of the shell. The shell seems too little for him. I've left him alone now, but he does 'cringe' when I drip water on him or something.
I've heard they can molt above ground, but not usually. He's just not moving and hanging out of the shell. I'm worried.

Yesterday a pet donkey of mine was put to sleep because she was no longer responsive to anything. She developed lock jaw and blindness very quickly. Once the vet arrived her back legs were stiff as if she was locking her muscles. I wasn't there at the time and just would like to know what could have possibly happened. Please...if you are not serious don't answer this. This was a loved pet and she is gone. Be kind.
