ABSOLUTELY! IF FACT, THEY WILL CONSIDER IT A GREAT TREAT AND LOVE YOU FOR IT. I WOULD STICK TO LOW SUGAR CEREALS LIKE CHEERIOS AND CORNFLAKES, SHREDDED WHEAT...THINKS LIKE THAT. OF COURSE, THIS IS NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR THE MOUSE AND RAT DIET YOU CAN BUY AT THE STORES. THEY ALSO LIKE VEGGIES AND YOGURT DIPS. (THESE ARE IN THE PET SUPPLY AISLE IN WALMART...$2) DO NOT GIVE HIM CHEESE. I KNOW THIS SOUNDS CRAZY, BUT IT CAUSES MAJOR GASTROINTESTINAL PROBLEMS AND CAN KILL HIM. IT IS A MYTH THAT YOU CAN FEED THEM CHEESE. I HAVE A MOUSE NOW THAT I HAVE HAD FOR OVER 3 YEARS. ALSO, I AM A FORMER BREEDER FOR MICE AND RATS. RAW VEGGIES ARE AWESOME! GOOD LUCK. : ) **I JUST WANTED TO ADD THE REASON WHY YOU DON'T GIVE SUGAR CEREAL...IT EASILY ROTS THERE TEETH. NO DIFFERENT THAN US. * I HOPE THIS HELPS.

Cereal is a wonderful treat for a mouse. Mice are actually omnivores, so a meaty treat once in a while would be a good thing, like a cricket from the pet store.

Yes you may. You may also give them crackers with peanut butter and carrots and celery. If you do give them these be sure to take them out and throw them away after a few hours or the could start to rot!

Yes, you can give cereals to mice as a treat. Mine love Cheerios and plain-ole Corn Flakes.

Other human foods my mice like is no-salt peanuts in the shell and day-old bread. They also like corn meal. I will buy one of those small boxes (Jiffy), cut open a hole in the front and place the box in their cage. They love it !

Yes you can give them cereals and human snacks. I would recommend these cool treats called Yogurt Bites.

you can give mice anything they will eat in moderation. Think about it babe, they are rodents - there is practically no difference between the rodent house or field mouse as there is in a domesticated (or feeder) mouse. Which is what you have - a pet mouse - a feeder mouse.

I have had pet feeder mice since when I was a kid - I demanded my brothers let me save them from their pet snakes. Occasionally, they'd feed him when I wasn't around.

I own a rat (not a mouse) but I figured they are much alike--I give my rat cereal all the time and he loves it, so yes. My rat also love celery. He loves cheese, but I heard it's bad to give them too much
