I'm debating on getting an animal. Please help me decide. What are your favorites?

My hamster loves to chew on her cage at night. It's plastic, and it's really noisy. Is there anything I can do that is safe or should i just let her do her thing? She already has a "chube" to chew on, as well as wooden chew toys, but she prefers the plastic.

OK well I have a chcicken and has laid me 4 eggs. I brought the egga home. They are fertilized and they should be hatching any day now. I was going to bring the eggs back to her when they hatched. Unfortunaly, she has passed away. Now I dont know what to do with the babies when they htach. Should I keep that at home? Or should I just put them back in the barn with a heat lamp? I need answers!

I really do not want to put fish in there. Are there any other small animals I can put in there???? Can you give me the exact name and/or info about them?? (ie snails, frogs, turtles, so forth)

is any one else mad about how people treat animals? 2 of my neighbors moved out and abandoned their dogs. there was 4 stray dogs. 2 of them have already died. and my current neighbors dog isnt treated well at his house and is always at mine. i love all these animals to death, but i cannot afford to take care of them all. i make 5.50 an hour. i live withmy mom. it just makes me so mad the way people treat animals. i wish there were harsher animal cruelty laws

How do you tell if a rock is a girl or boy? Where can you get one? What do you keep them in? Can they be aquatic? How much do they move? What do they eat??? What do they like? My friend and I were discussing an important topic. What if a monkey & gorilla got it on... what would the babies names be and they would have twins... Here is own version of the family tree.

When a monkey & gorilla had two babies one would be named a goronkey and the other mogilla and when those two hooked up they would give birth to 2 mogoronkeys, a boy and girl. So now if a Mogoronkey had sex with a chimp they would have a chimperonkey. However, if the Mogoronkey had sex with a Orangutan they would have an orangoronkey. Now our question is... If a orangoronkey & chimperonkey hooked up... what would that baby be called? Help us out.

I just noticed that my hamster has got a big bulge on its right side where the limb is attached to the body. My friend says it's common, wait for a few days to see if it'll go away ornot...but I'm really very worried. She's kinda fat and big size but that's definitely a bulge.....any kind souls can tell me what's happening??

I have a female and male rabbit. Both were altered May 2006. Well, last night my male began chasing the female around. He was nudging her like he did before he was neutered to mate with her. She finally stood still, and presented herself to him as she did when they did mate. Anyway, he mounted her and humped away a few times and stopped. What the heck is going on ? Can a neutered animal get frisky and have and erection and my altered female was willing to mate ??? Any insight would be helpful. I tried looking on web and could not find anything out. Is this normal behavior ? It was a first for him since the operation.
