Do you keep them as pets or herd animals?

I have a herd of large goats, but my pygmy is a pet.

I had a boar goat that I bottle raised from birth and she was a big pet. SO if I had a smaller version I know I would have it like an outdoor lapdog.
If you handle them daily goats are very people oriented and they bond like any other animal.

I used to have them a few years ago. They're mainly pets...they're too little to butcher or milk, so a pet is the perfect job for them.

yes they are sold locally here as pets and the one i saw at the store was a pet. potty trained and everything cutest little thing you ever saw
