we just got my 10 yr old a guinea pig for her B Day and she adores her new pet. Yesterday After she had been carring the pig around and holding it near ehr face I noticed what looks to be hives on my daughter. I asked her if it was iching at all and she said no. I have never heard of some one being allergic to guinea pigs before.
BTW The "hives " left almost as quickly as they appeared and my daughter has shown no other signs of illness or allergy symptoms

My hand-reared duck is a male, and is biting everyone's feet and legs. When you run away from him, he chases you, and bites you even more. He reacts to aggression by biting even more. I don't know what is causing it, but can someone please help!!!

It's like saying "Oh granny is 87, I guess we will put her to sleep". I think animals should die on their own but if they are in pain, they should be put to sleep.

I have a Qh who is so hard to worm that he will rear up and strike out at the tube of paste. I have done the non tubed wormer but i just dont like to take the time and i dont think it works as good. He is not trying to hurt me in anyway (he is a 25 year old horse that would not hurt anything). I need to know if any of you have ANY good ideas on what i should do. Also does putting a treat into it work like apple sauce or something.

I live in Mich , does anybody know how to get rid of them? They scare me. I don't ever want to accidentally eat one either.
