I am looking for any suggestions on sites, people to talk to, places to go, options, I am running out of them. Our place is gonna be more than just a pet store, it is gonna be like a humane society, a non kill one. We are also looking for places to go for cheap pet supplies. All ideas welcomed.

What was wrong with him? I'm a horse dentist for crying out loud and the sugars in Fruitcake can cause cavaties.

I saw two of the cutest wolf pups at my grandfathers house in the country. They came out of the woods. I was even able to pick one up and love on it. My grandfather told me the mother could not be far away and to put the pup down. The pups resembled dogs only looked slightly different. If they were not wild I would love to have one.

My new hamster likes to roll around in her little ball, and she often goes into dark corners and starts grooming herself. She also does this if she gets stuck somewhere. Grooming is fine with me, but sometimes it seems like she's scratching too much. I guess I'm a little paranoid because my first hamster had a huge problem with mites under his skin, and I'm afraid of this one getting the same problem. Yes, I scoured everything the previous hamster used and even the things he never used, but maybe I'm a little OCD about this, and feel there's still a chance she could've gotten it too.

i have a mare showing signs of foaling, think it is very likely she will foal tonight. How often should i check on her, i know she can deliver in as little as 15mins. she is in an american type barn so i have to turn the light on every time i visit her. we do have a foaling box, but didn't expect foal so soon. dont want to move her now and upset her.

this is the first pregnant mare i've looked after. i've read all the books and articles, but nothing prepares you for the actual thing! Any advise gladly accepted
