Were you up all night watching him? Chances are, he was up more than you realize. Hamsters are naturally nocturnal, but if they are active during the day more, then it's possible they will sleep more at night.

Try taking the hamster out later tonight, around 8-9pm, and put him in a ball. If he's happy and healthy, he'll have fun in the ball, and run all over the place.

Is your place cold. !
Hamsters in a natural habitat Hibernate.. he could be going into this mode.. !
Or maybes hes just feeling under the weather.

It's probably getting ready for hibernation (though not all hamsters do it. I knew a friend who thought his hamster was dead but when they turned on the heating it woke up again.

Have a Wheel in the cage, cardboard tubes and Bells for him to play with and try move things around every other day so they will be nosy

if you live somewhere cold then it is only hibernating. If you are really that worried than go to your local vet.

dont be its just being lazy, as long as its eating then its fine
