i have wondered this also......as there are a lot of horse questions thye should either make it horses or farm animals as these are all different than house pets...talk to yahoo....

well i believe that why they have the OTHER as a category because there are so many pets out there. I have a duck as a pet and it isnt listed as pets.

Horses are farm animals, mainly that you keep in a barn, and I think the categories listed to pertains to housepets that you usually don't keep in cages. Which is why "Hamster" and "Guinea Pig" aren't listed either.

Probably because they aren't COMMON pets-but they do fit into the "other pets" section.
I'm sure it's nothing personal against horses or their owners.

Same reason they don't have an amphibian category. They just lump them all in with something else. It's stupid but they're Yahoo and they can do what they want.
